Dear UTC Singers,

In spite of the blistering heat and busy schedules that are currently consuming our attention, ourexcitement about the upcoming Draper Singers Reunion in Chattanooga this November is building! It is slated

be a grand event consisting of singers from every group that Glenn has ever directed. These include people from

Keesler Air Force Base Male Chorus, Pfieffer College Men's Chorus, University of Miami, University ofTennessee at Chattanooga Chamber Singers, Singing Mocs and Chattanooga Singers, Chattanooga First

Presbyterian Church Choir, Glenn Draper Singers and over 50 years of Junaluska Singers.As you can imagine, with an undertaking of this magnitude there are more "unknowns" at this point than

"knowns." However, in an attempt to fill in some of the blanks for you, here is what we do know at this point.The dates are Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 4 th, 5th and 6th. The concert schedule will be as follows:

Weekend Schedule:

Friday

5:00 Light finger food dinner at First Presbyterian Church.6:30 - 9:00 Rehearsal in the choir room

Saturday9:00 - 9:45 Men's rehearsal in choir room

9:45 - 12:15 Ladies join the men for a full choir rehearsal4:00 - 6:30 Full choir rehearsal with full orchestra at Tivoli Theatre(Dinner details for Saturday night are still in process.)

Sunday

1:00 Full choir at Tivoli

3:00 5:00 Formal concert

Concert Attire:Men Black tuxedo with black bow tie

Ladies Solid black top (either short or long sleeved but not sleeveless), long or tea lengthsolid black skirt or full length black pants with black hose and shoes. Pearl earrings.

It's difficult to identify other unknowns until we get an idea of how many of you plan to attend. So, of

first importance is your RSVP regarding your intentions to be herealong with which group you were with an

what part you sing. (Don't forget to leave this information in your message.)

Roger White, the event chairman has created a page on Facebook called the Chattanooga Singers. We

already have over 150 singers who have joined us there. This would be the best way to keep up with developing

details if you have internet access. If not, Roger himself is the group coordinator for the UTC Singers along with

Diane Rush and their contact information is listed below.

Please read Glenn's personal letter carefully and hear his heart speaking in his words. We, along with hiare so excited about the potential for this incredible one-of-a-kind event and can't wait to hear from you!
