Describe the scope of your responsibilities.I work for Vancouver
Coastal Health, it's actually regional health authority, consisting
of 13 major hospitals, about 400 contracts with other agencies .I
think it's about 12 million square feet.and we manage about 120
million oath of construction annually at both new construction and
renovations.How long have you been using ARCHIBUS?I've been working
with ARCHIBUS for about 15 years now and about seven years with
Vancouver Coastal Health .we started off inthe Windows environment
and solely we migrated into the web environment ensuring the
information over the web is much more easier way to disseminate
information.What business results have you achieved?quantitative is
a bit more difficult because it's just hard to quantify it but it
has helped us out with some legal claim levy ever able to be come
out ahead on a six hundred thousand dollar legal claim. With the
legal claim, we were able to extract information from our system
and we had stored in our system we were able to find information
quickly and give it to the defense team.How has ARCHIBUS benefited
your work life?Before we didn't really have a system in place so we
didn't have the ability to find information quickly we werent
tracking information before but now we had in a central location
,access to all the information from the system .So well be able to
extract information we needed. It also helped us with catching some
errors In Design earlier and were able to save about a million
dollars worth over rework that would have been done if we didnt
pick up on this problem sooner.Why did you attend the conference
this year?I came to their this conference this year because I'm
very keen on the new technology and I'm very curious to see how the
new versions of ARCHIBUS will enable me to do share the information
with our users. One thing that we do a lot is publish our drawings
and reports and the idea of having the drawingn reports on one page
shared over the web is really important to us and smash saying that
the conference said the next generation 18.1 , 18.2 this feature a
built-in will be viable for us.What is a key benefit of ARCHIBUS
for you?From my past experiences I've used other systems and
ARCHIBUS by far is much more easier to personalize and configures
to fit your need.U can easily try on or off fields, change the sort
