L A N D S C A P E A R C H I T E C T

I grew up in Italy and studied at the University of Greenwich, London, developing a strong interest in Landscape Architecture and environmental sustainability. My pre-graduation placement saw me develop a strong interest in botany whilst working in the UK, getting closely involved in the application of policies for the preservation of trees and landscapes of historical signifi cance. This role also reinforced my landscape management skills and provided me with insight with regards to the value of community consultation, landscape feasibility and best value practices.

Following graduation I developed a substantial portfolio, working in the public and private sectors, getting intimately involved in the cycle of ecology in urban areas, the impact of industrial processes and the promotion of biodiversity, whilst completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Ecological Management.

Since moving to the Middle East I have been actively involved in mixed-use high end projects of a diverse nature, from master planning to highly articulated detail design.

As a landscape architect with a background in landscape ecology, interior design and graphics, I am a conceptually rigorous designer and inventive in presentation techniques, in response to contemporary landscape architectural practice.

My approach to design seeks to develop a global outlook, encouraging interaction, contemplation and the creation of a strong sense of place and belonging. Also, I try to promote contemporary biodiverse measures, discovering in each project a unique set of conditions that can be enhanced, embodied and extended through landscape architecture, for the creation of unique, sustainable spaces.
