PRESENTACIÓN
Nuestra artesanía regional, es parte fundamental de nuestro patrimonio cultural, que sumando calidad y diversidad, rebasan nuestra frontera y se convierten en dignos embajadores de la cultura regional.
Por ello, los artesanos de la Región Junín, mantienen y cultivan esa identidad propia que distingue a nuestra artesanía, a pesar de las modificaciones que, lógicamente, se han debido ir introduciendo en las diferentes etapas del proceso de producción artesanal; enmarcando una actividad económica con peso específico propio en cuanto a su capacidad de generar empleo y riqueza.
Nuestra artesanía, se caracteriza por su pureza estilística y su gran diversidad. Una diversidad que se observa tanto en las modalidades artesanales, como en las técnicas, donde la innovación se complementa con la tradición, configurando un producto genuino de gran calidad.
En la región Junín se mezclan diversas culturas ancestrales que van de generación en generación y por ello se conservan distintas costumbres que influyen en el modo de elaborar los productos artesanales que son reconocidos a nivel nacional e internacional.
Los diferentes oficios artesanales que hoy se practican en la región Junín, manejan casi todo tipo de materiales. Mates, metal, cuero, vidrio, piedra, barro, fibras vegetales, madera, cartón, oro, etc., que sirven a los artesanos como materia prima de sus trabajos. Buena parte de la artesanía de Junín, gira al rededor de sus tradiciones míticas, de las fiestas tradicionales de su cultura que ha perdurado por años, en los últimos años vienen capacitandose constantemente para estar acorde al avance de la moda y la tendencia adquisitiva del cliente.
Hoy por hoy, se están revalorando la labor del artesano, que en años anteriores se habían dejado de lado, por ello, el Gobierno Regional de Junín a través del Proyecto Fortalecimiento de las exportaciones del Sector Artesanal, presentan el catálogo con una gama de productos artesanales al empresariado mundial.

Our regional crafts, is part of our cultural heritage, adding quality and diversity, beyond our borders and become worthy ambassadors of the regional culture.
Therefore, the artisans of Junin Region, maintain and cultivate this identity that distinguishes our craft, despite the changes, of course, we had to be introduced at different stages of craft production, framing an economic activity specific weight in their own capacity to generate employment and wealth.
Our craft is characterized by its purity of style and its great diversity. This diversity is seen in both craft patterns, as in the techniques, where innovation is complemented with tradition, forming a genuine product of great quality.
In the Junin region are mixed various ancient cultures ranging from generation to generation and thus retain different customs that influence how to develop craft products that are recognized nationally and internationally.
The different crafts that are practiced today in the Junin region, handle almost all types of materials. Mates, metal, leather, glass, stone, clay, fibers, wood, cardboard, gold, etc., artisans who serve as raw material for their work. Much of the craft of Junín revolves around their mythical traditions of the traditional celebrations of their culture that has endured for years, in recent years come to be constantly training themselves according to the fashion forward and trend customer purchasing .
Today, they are reassessing the work of the artisan, who in previous years had been neglected, therefore, the Regional Government of Junin Project through Strengthening exports Craft Sector, presented the catalog with a range of products craft to the business world.
