WHO WE ARERimor snc was founded in 1987 to follow the electromechanical market, collaborating with some companies that were once part of Ercole Marelli spa This group of companies later evolved into Marelli Motori spa.In 2004 the Avonto family, formerly a partner with 50% of the company shares, acquired the entire company. The family’s second generation with its innovative attitude and experience, led to the understanding of the market’s need for specific products and to the development of new products entirely designed and manufactured by Rimor. A series of important investments in machineries, technologies, softwares and employees decided by the company management has contributed to the development and growth of Rimor over the years.
Rimor provides systems and components, that it designs and manufactures in-house for the industrial ventilation sector as well as for the high temperature and furnaces fans sector. In June 2014 the new headquarter was established just adjacent to the historical one, allowing the company to operate on more adequate spaces. In 2015, Rimor’s acquisition of Camit srl, a company specialized in sandblasting and painting systems has allowed it to expand and diversify its business portfolio. Today, Rimor operates on an area of 4.000 m2 area with a workforce of over 50 people.
The majority of the personnel is young and it can express its abilities concretely in a stimulating and innovative environment.

Rimor also offers medium-voltage motors, synchronous and asynchronous generators for hydroelectric plants, for energy production in general and motors equipped with water-jacket cooling systems or air ones built with special metallurgies. The product line is completed by the inverters series for motor ignition.

Rimor can offer complete models for complex industrial applications. Rimor thanks to its engineering capabilities can offer centrifuge and axial ventilation systems for applications that were once unthinkable. Highly performing and efficient ventilations systems, are offered with on-board filtration systems, with regulating valves activated with both manual and automatic systems, with both discharge and suction silencers or also with compact soundproofing case systems that guarantee extremely limited noise emissions with anti-vibration joints, resistant to high pressures and high temperatures. The possibility of on-board electric starter installations that allow substantial reductions in terms of cables and therefore interferences on the different instruments of the various machineries is quite sought-after by our clients.
Air ValvesThe “Rimor Mining” industrial fans series consists of helicoidal fans with aeraulic blades, suitable to guarantee high-efficiency and limited noise emissions (silencers in entry and exit points).These machines are widely used nowadays in tunnel excavations at road and railway construction sites and they manage to guarantee adjustable in depth fresh air recirculation without creating turbulences and wind tunnel effect for the operators.
Rimor manufactures air valves of various shapes and dimensions for corrosive environments and as well as for high temperatures.All valves are certified through computational fluid dynamics simulations with regard to sealing, mechanical resistance and cycle torque calculation.Beyond manual handling, Rimor offers an ample range of motorization possibilities: electrical, pneumatic and mechanical.

Rimor is the only Italian company that always offers industrial fans that are both belt-free and bullwheel-free and are connected to the case and axle thanks to innovative, reliable cooling solutions and thanks to the choice of the most adequate materials for extremely high temperatures.Clients particularly appreciate the possibility of layouts that are able to guarantee, at a reduced speed, important flow rates with parts welded or fused together.The correct strategy for air handling has to be chosen according to the layout of the parts that have to be heated: helicoidal (for furnaces without internal compartments) or centrifuge (high speed and optimal air distribution that avoids stratifications).Every Rimor stirrer can be made with thermally insulated buffers, of any form and dimension, to be assembled on furnaces in order to avoid any dispersion of heat.Rimor offers certified custom services thanks to both transient cooling and heating analyses and to studies on conduction and convection inside furnaces, stirrer and axles.
Rimor manufactures heat recovery ventilation systems with a particular exchange process that doesn’t cause pressure drops to the combustion air and that can be inserted in line with the burners’ power source without having to oversize the combustion system itself.
It’s a particular system that allows discharges to be made from furnaces in a very balanced way and it can provide a flow rate equal to that outputted by the air adduction fan. Rimor is equipped with an ejector calculation system and offers solutions that can draw air up to 1200°C.
Rotocabe (a Rimor patent) is an industrial fan that is used to generate gas burners combustion air but also to work at extremely high temperatures in hot gases extraction process.
Rimor has developed air cooling systems for motors and soundproofing systems that make Rotocabe the most compact and efficient system available on the market.

Recube is a compact ventilation unit that can offer excellent performances in reduced spaces. It can be assembled on board of coating, rotogravure, flexography and rolling machineries and it allows integration with energy recovery systems, insulation systems, solvent control systems, flow rate and pressure control systems. It is particularly appreciated for its limited noise emission levels and its easy maintenance. The product was under development for 6 years and was first introduced in 2008. Recube is one of Rimor’s main products and it represents an asset for the company thanks to its integration by numerous clients (leaders in their respective sectors) with their machineries.

The aerodynamic and wind tunnel testing fans are used in the various tests with chassis dynamometers and can generate high speed air flow in complete compliance with the levels of uniformity and homogeneity required by the regulations in force including the WLTP. The aerodynamic and wind tunnel testing fans for chassis dynamometers that Rimor manufacture are adequate to work in climatic chambers and therefore in temperatures well below zero, subject to continuous and suddenspeed changes such as accelerations

Moist Environments Ventilation Unit(Moisture Fan)
Ventilation units for moist environments are suitable to transfer moisture and aggressive fluids. Built therefore both in iron and stainless steel, they represent one of the main components in the organic waste treatment process.
De-Nox Package Syngas fanThe DE-NOX Package is a double fan re-intake system with air exchange valves and it finds application in those high temperature processes where it is necessary to conduct enriched mixtures, in order to create blast chilling processes or to transfer fluids.A specific blast chilling technology is usedfor the axle.
The Dryer Package is a compact in line moisture reduction system with an integrated refrigeration system. It is used to dehumidify saturated air flows and return at the exit point, dehumidified air, sendable to the activated carbons. It is also used to dehumidify syngas.
The syngas fan is an electrically heated fan that doesn’t allow the solid state syngas to sediment itself inside the fan and it’s suitable to guarantee excellent performances in terms of thermal stresses and heat dissipations. It is usually employed at extremely high pressures and demanding conditions.

Environmental sustainability is our priority and it is an aim that requires a series of processes through which we can add value to waste by transforming it into an energy source or into a reusable organic material: compost. Rimor has been selling Marelli Motori electric motors and generators, for over 25 years. Marelli Motori is an Italian company that since more than a century has been manufacturing highly performing low voltage and medium voltage motors for both industrial and naval applications. The different ranges offered on the market have allowed to guarantee diversified solutions as required by customers needs but they all have one thing in common: reliability. Rimor Special Electric Motors Thanks to its multi-year experience in the sector and its engineering research, Rimor offers special models for electric motors that allow uses in applications apparently prohibitive.
Therefore, long shafts with water-jacket or air-cooled motor systems have been developed, that allow them to be paired directly with hot air fans, guaranteeing this way extremely high performances without decreasing the longevity of the motor.
Rimor IgnitionTo abide by the regulation requirements with regard to efficiency classes, Rimor can offer complete ignition models with ignitions through even on-board inverter, in both IP23 and IP54 execution. The on-board model guarantees total absence of disturbances on the various instrumentations present in the plants in addition to the elimination of cables that often represent an hindrance in the installations. Rimor also builds electric panels of different types and power and it guarantees their installation and on-site programming.
The various European and international regulations have therefore over the years increased the requirements in terms of efficiency of electrical motors, increasingly requiring ignitions with a motor/inverter combination. Rimor Recube (patent filed in 2015) is a ventilation unit developed after years of research and collaborations that led to the patent of a compact machinery that guarantees remarkable aeraulic performances and high-efficiency. Developed due to the innovation needs of the rotogravure-flexography-coating sector, the compact ventilation unit Recube today is widely used in numerous sectors such as automotive and industrial painting.
