• When you’re a child, having someone to admire and aspire to imitate is incredibly formative and important. We were curious to hear from Ms. Visy’s Fourth Grade class on the topic of heroes. As has been the case with every article in our “From the Kids” series, we found the students’ thoughts to be endearing, quote-worthy, memorable, and sweet.
• Who is your hero and why? Let’s hear from the Fourth Grade!
Who was your childhood hero? Was it a family member? A favorite teacher? Maybe a favorite character from a book or a movie?

• Judy loves and highly respects her great-aunt while Andy looks up to his brother who is older than him. Both children find their heroes very generous so they described them as people who share everything they have. Judy's great-aunt served the children food when they got home from school. She always tried to help the kids by comforting them when they were sad. She told them a lot of stories and sang songs. Andy's brother has been playing tennis for more ten years. He doesn’t work as he studies at university. He is very busy but he always finds time to give his brother a piece of advice to help him make decisions. Andy can rely on his brother because he has always been there for him. Judy is very grateful for her aunt because she made her childhood happier.
What do you think of it?
• WHEN I HEAR THE WORD “HERO” I THINK OF PEOPLE WHO WERE SOLDIERS DURING THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR. FOR ME A HERO IS A PERSON WHO I AM PROUD OF. MY HERO IS MY GREAT-GRANDFATHER. HE SAVED HIS FRIEND IN A BATTLE. MANY PEOPLE AROUND ME REMEMBER AND RESPECT THEIR RELATIVES WHO TOOK PART IN THE WAR.
• We've all got that someone (or someones) that really inspire us and motive us. We've all got our hero. Who is your hero? Who is that person that can do no wrong in your eyes? This is indestructible to you? Today we want to know who is your hero.
