pull-out hoses for kitchen use are frequently

res. For example: when a conventional mixer

type tap is switched over in mid flow and the

water is suddenly directed to the spray head

via the pull out hose. increased pressures can

be also caused by the holes within the spray

head becoming blocked. in both cases it is

possible that the resultant internal pressure

often exceeds 10 bar.
