Works Environment and Safety Policy
The work environment and safety policy is based on Stora Enso’s Group policy for the work
environment, health and safety.
For us “Safety first” means that personal safety and health are more important than all
other requirements.
The house rule for work environment and safety is:
“I take responsibility for myself and my co-workers work environment”.
This house rule is something that we all should follow.
Everyone at Nymölla Mill should feel equal value.
We do not accept victimization, harassments or discrimination.
Nymölla Mill strives for a good safety culture, where safe behavior is encouraged.
Risks must be systematically analyzed, evaluated, monitored and minimized or elimi-
nated.
Nymölla Mill is continuously working for improving work environment, health and
safety.

Following completion of work, the supervisor must conduct a careful check from a fire risk view-
point.

and/or smoke and will trigger an automatic alarm. Contact the fire and safety engineer for more in-
formation about the alarm risk and the people who may be permitted to disconnect the alarm when
necessary.

lease current.

Sources of radioactivity The company has installed devices that emit ionizing radiation. All such devices are marked with
signs. The recommended safety distance is two meter. The radiation level from a distance of more
than two meter from the level guard´s radiation shield is so low that employees can work throughout
the entire day. Any presence closer than two meter should be limited to only a few hours per week.

radiation should be contacted; se list of telephone numbers on page 15. Also see “Lock out/Tag out”.
