Go to the castle ruins in the village, it’s dog friendly, as is the Castle Inn just outside.

North Berwick town is lovely with some super places to eat and relax.

Edinburgh is only a 35-minute train ride away and is a great day out.

Take time to explore all the smaller beaches from North Berwick to Dunbar, St Abbs and Coldingham.

Visit the National Trust’s Newhailes House & Gardens.

A boat trip around the Bass Rock is a must.
