YOHEI yogi NISHIDA - from Tokyo, Japan -

is dedicated to taking photographs of the people of Maya,

who are of the same Mongolic origin as the people of his homeland.

Washed over by the wave of modernization,

Almost losing our souls -

But here, old values still ring true.

So as not to cloud the sparkle in their eyes,

I hope to quietly protect the people of Maya from it all...

同じモンゴロイドのマヤの人々。

そこには現代の波に呑まれ

失われつつある

僕たちのココロ

日本人の素顔がまだある。

瞳に映る輝きを再び曇らせないよう

そっと静かに見守りたい..

The following collection reflects my heartfelt wishes.

My hope is that you:

Hear the “sounds” from the collection,

Smell the “winds” from the collection,

Visualize the “thoughts” from the collection.

This 2nd exhibition is at the Museum Casa Santo Domingo.

My heartfelt thanks go to Ms. Anna of Museum curator,

Ms. Shiraishi of Association aoisola’s representative,

along with the efforts of many people.
