    Isinasaad sa Batas Republika 8293, Seksiyon 176 na: Hindi maaaring magkaroon ng karapatang-sipi sa anumang akda ang Pamahalaan ng Pilipinas. Gayunpaman, kailangan muna ang pahintulot ng ahensiya o tanggapan ng pamahalaan na naghanda ng akda kung ito ay pagkakakitaan. Kabilang sa mga maaaring gawin ng nasabing ahensiya o tanggapan ay ang pagtakda ng kaukulang bayad.

    Ang Pang-uri ay bahagi ng pananalitang naglalarawan o nagbibigay-

    turing sa pangngalan panghalip. Naririto ang iba’tibang kaantasan ng pang-

    uri:

    MGA PAHAYAG SA PAGHAHAMBING AT IBA PANG

    KAANTASAN NG PANG-URI

    1. Lantay

    Ang anyo ng pang-uri kung ito ay naglalarawan lamang ng iisang pangngalan o panghalip.

    Halimbawa:

    Malaki ang responsibilidad ng magulang sa pagpapalaki ng mga anak.

    Mahirap ang tungkuling ito.

    2. Pahambing

    Ang pang-uri kung ito ay naghahambing o nagtutulad ng dalawang pangngalan o panghalip. May dalawang uri ng pang-uring pahambing:

    a.Pahambing na Pasahol o Palamang- nagsasaad ng nakahihigit o

    nakalalamang na katangian ng isa sa dalawang pangngalan o panghalip na pinaghahambing. Gumagamit ito ng mga katagang higit, mas, lalong, di gaano, di gasino, at iba pa. halimbawa: Mas mahirap ang hamon sa mga magulang ngayon kaysa noon.

    Mas mabuti pa rin ang pagbabasa ng aklat kaysa pagbababad sa harap ng telebisyon.

    Higit na mapadali ang gawain gamit ang makabagong teknolohiya ngayon kaysa noon.

    Di gaanong mahusay si Loisa sa Math.

    Di gasino ang kanyang paglakad.

    b. Pahambing na Patulad- nagsasaad ng magkatulad o

    magkapantay na katangian ng dalawang pangngalan o panghalip na

    pinaghahambing. Gumagamit ito ng mga panlaping tulad ng sing/sin/sim, magsing, kasing o ng mga salitang kapwa, pareho. Halimbawa:

    Ang telebisyon at Internet ay parehong masama kapag nasobrahan.

    Ang impluwensiyang dulot ng mga ito sa isipan ay magsindami Magkasing tapang si Rhea at Nicole.

    Ang buhok ni Issa ay kasing haba ng Buhok ni Lorna.

    Ang mga bansang Pilipinas at Cambodia ay kapwa kabilang sa mga

    bansang makikita sa Asya.

    Magkasimputi ang mga bata sa Isla ng Pitong Makasalanan

    3. Pasukdol

    Ang pang-uri kung ito ay nagpapakita ng pinakamatindi o

    pinakasukdulang katangian sa paghahambing ng higit sa dalawang pangngalan o panghalip. Gumagamit ito ng mga panlaping pinaka-, napaka, pagka- kasunod ng pag-uulit ng salitang-ugat o ng mga salitang ubod ng, hari ng, sakdal, sobra.

    Halimbawa: Pinakamalaking hamon sa lahat ang magpalaki ng mabubuti at may

    magagandang asal na mga anak sa panahong nagkalat ang masasamang impluwensiya sa lipunan.

    Si Dennis ang pinakamatangkad sa kanilang magkakapatid.

    Napakagandang panoorin ang mga batang sumasayaw sa entablado.

    ngayon ay magkakaroon tayo ng Gawain para mas masukat natin ang lawak ng iyong

    Panuto: salungguhitan ang mga pang-uring ginamit sa bawat pangungusap at suriin

    ang kaantasan nito. Isulat sa kahon ang L kung ito ay Lantay, PT kung pahambing

    na patulad at PL kung pahambing na palamang at P kung Pasukdol.

    gabay ang salitang ugat sa loob ng panaklong gayundin ang diwang taglay ng

    pangungusap.

    halos 75% ng mga sanggol mula 0-1 taon ay nakapanonood ng telebisyon at 37% sa

    mga ito ay nakapanonood araw-araw. Ayon naman sa pag-aaral na isinagawa ng

    Kaiser Family Foundation noong 2010, ang mga kabataang may edad 8 hanggang

    18 ay gumugugol daw ng 7 oras at 38 minuto araw-araw sa paggamit ng iba’t ibang

    uri ng media. Ayon pa rin sa nasabing pag-aaral, ang 7 oras at 38 minuto na ito ay

    napapalawig pa nang hanggang 10 oras at 45 minuto dahil sa tinatawag na media

    multitasking kung saan sabay-sabay na binubuksan at ginagamit ng isang kabataan

    ang iba’tibang media o applications. Napakalaki ng epekto nito sa nabubuong pag-

    uugali, pagpapahalaga, pag-iisip, at pamumuhay ng mga kabatanan.

    Kaya naman, sa ganitong kalagayan ay lalongmahalaga ang presensiya ng

    magulang upang magabayan ang kani-kanilang mga anak sa pagharap sa mga

    impluwensiyang dala ng digital age. Ang matiyagang pagtuturo at paggabay ng

    magulang pa rin ang pinakamahalaga sa panahong ito. Subalit mahalaga rin ang

    pagtanggap at pagsunod ng mga anak sa payo o pangaral ng magulang.

    I Am a Filipino, by Carlos P. Romulo I am a Filipino–inheritor of a glorious past, hostage to the uncertain

    future. As such I must prove equal to a two-fold task–the task of meeting my responsibility to the past, and the task of performing my obligation to the future.

    I sprung from a hardy race, child many generations removed of ancient Malayan pioneers. Across the centuries the memory comes rushing back to me: of brown-skinned men putting out to sea in ships that were as frail as their hearts were stout. Over the sea I see

    them come, borne upon the billowing wave and the whistling wind, carried upon the mighty swell of hope–hope in the free abundance of new land that was to be their home and their children’s forever.

    I am a Filipino. In my blood runs the immortal seed of heroes–seed that flowered down the centuries in deeds of courage and defiance. In my veins yet pulses the same hot blood that sent Lapulapu to

    battle against the first invader of this land, that nerved Lakandula in the combat against the alien foe, that drove Diego Silang and Dagohoy into rebellion against the foreign oppressor.

    The seed I bear within me is an immortal seed. It is the mark of my

    manhood, the symbol of dignity as a human being. Like the seeds that were once buried in the tomb of Tutankhamen many thousand years ago, it shall grow and flower and bear fruit again. It is the

    insignia of my race, and my generation is but a stage in the unending search of my people for freedom and happiness.

    I am a Filipino, child of the marriage of the East and the West. The

    East, with its languor and mysticism, its passivity and endurance, was my mother, and my sire was the West that came thundering across the seas with the Cross and Sword and the Machine. I am of the East, an eager participant in its spirit, and in its struggles for

    liberation from the imperialist yoke. But I also know that the East must awake from its centuried sleep, shake off the lethargy that has bound his limbs, and start moving where destiny awaits.

    I am a Filipino, and this is my inheritance. What pledge shall I give

    that I may prove worthy of my inheritance? I shall give the pledge that has come ringing down the corridors of the centuries, and it shall be compounded of the joyous cries of my Malayan forebears

    when first they saw the contours of this land loom before their eyes, of the battle cries that have resounded in every field of combat from Mactan to Tirad Pass, of the voices of my people when they sing:

    “I am a Filipino born to freedom, and I shall not rest until freedom shall have been added unto my inheritance—for myself and my children and my children’s children—forever.”
