  • ABSTRACT

    The objectives of this research were to compare Mathayomsuksa 3 students reading achievement and to compare students retention when reading passage from computer monitor with different highlight colors. The subject was 300 Mathayomsuksa 3 students from Srithammarat Suksa school. They were divided into 10 groups of 30 students. Each group was assigned to read passages which presented by only one color of ten colors from Google Docs program. The research instruments were online document, pre-test, post-test, and retention test. Data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, and one-way ANOVA. The research results revealed that there were statistically significant differences of reading achievement and retention among the experimental groups at 0.5 level. The highest mean score of reading achievement and retention are from the lightblue (31.26, 28.43) group. Keywords : Reading Achievement, Retention, Highlight Color
