안녕하세요! Please read my introduction before you apply to attend the
conference :) This conference will not only help the delegates grow,
but also help myself to grow. This conference has been a truly amazing
experience and opportunity for me. It was my first experience
organizing a conference (an international one nonetheless!) and it was
a great joy the whole time despite the ups and downs. I sincerely
believe that the Dream Catcher Conference will provide you, the
delegates, with unimaginable experiences and opportunities.
I hope this conference provides you an opportunity to seriously think
about your dreams regardless of where you come from. This
conference may help you find that dream buried deep inside your heart
or it may find you a dream that you thought you never had. Don’t miss
this great opportunity to pursue your dreams. Don’t miss the
opportunity to participate in the Dream Catcher Conference.
Famous American model Patti Hansen once said,
“You create your opportunities by asking for them.”
Create your own opportunity. Apply for the Dream Catcher Conference!
We EAGERLY await your applications :)

Dreamcatcher is the first project launched by AIESEC Sookmyung
Women’s University (AIESEC SMU). Dreamcatcher is also the first
international conference launched by SMU and the members of the OC
are nervous and excited at the same time! Dreamcatcher is a project
based on self-growth and self-development. The members of the OC
think that the delegates will be able to grow by themselves through this
once-in-a-lifetime conference and experience.
This conference is for anyone who is faced with harsh realities of school,
difficulties of finding a job, and the grown-up world and have wandered
away from their true dreams. Or, maybe you are not sure about your
dream yet. Through this conference, we are confident that you will be
reenergized to pursue your dreams with vigor and that you will be more
sure of which dream you want to pursue.
If you want to grow as a person, don’t hesitate… APPLY NOW! There are
invaluable experiences awaiting you at the Dreamcatcher conference!
We eagerly await your applications :)
After having come all the way to South Korea, we don’t want you to
leave without experiencing South Korea the way we locals do! Us OC’s
and others will take willing delegates on a tour of Seoul, including the
Palaces, a history museum, and Samcheongdong, a neighbourhood
famous for great scenery and traditional Korean houses.
After having come all the way to South Korea, we don’t want you to
leave after having only participated in the conference! We want you to
have fun as well :) After the conference, on Wednesday, interested
delegates can take part in the post-tour of the Everland Amusement
Park! For a low cost of 22,000 KRW, you can take part in this fun
experience!
To celebrate the successful conference, we will throw up a fun
drinking party on the second night! We will have a DJ playing music
and there will be four game sections you can freely play with other
delegates to build stronger relationships.

South Korea is located in North East Asia, between the People's
Republic of China and Japan. Rising from the ashes of the Korean War,
South Korea has become one of the world’s most exciting and dynamic
countries. From shopping in Seoul, eating seafood in Busan, and skiing
in the mountains, there is never a shortage of things to do in South
Korea. We hope you get to experience South Korea the way you want
to!
South Korea has 5000 years of rich history and is very homogenous
society. South Koreans have accomplished an unprecedented
economic growth called “The Miracle on the Han”. Due to this, people
visiting South Korea can experience both the traditional and modern
cultures when they visit South Korea. Recently, the Korean wave
spread throughout the whole world and many have begun to enjoy
Korean dramas, songs, and foods.
Visit UNESCO designated sites and beautiful royal palaces. Take a
tour to the DMZ, or do city tour in Seoul. There are an endless
number of unique things to see and do in Korea. Visiting Korea
must become one of your unforgettable experiences.

In South Korea, it is easy to find malls and department stores. South Korea is
filled with cafés, restaurants, movie theaters, and more everywhere you go! You
can spend whole day shopping here and there. There are also many different
brands, both local and international, so that you can compare the qualities and
the prices thoroughly. You can also enjoy street shopping at famous shopping
streets such as Hongdae, Sinchon, and Apgujeong Rodeo Street.
There are countless many phenomenal dishes in South Korea. They not only
look appetizing, they are absolutely delicious! When you come to South Korea,
the first thing we recommend you to try are samgyeopsal and soju, a.k.a, the
Korean barbecue and alcohol. Then, you might want to go to the Han River
and try Korean fried chicken and beer! You don’t want to miss thehance to try
some street foods like tteokboki and soondae as well!
