Construction Practice
King & Spalding was one of the first large general practice
firms in the nation to establish a specific practice devoted to
construction law. Today, King & Spalding represents some ofthe world's largest organizations in all aspects of their global
construction projects. We focus almost exclusively on the
representation of owner clients, a large portion of whom are in
the energy section.
King & Spalding places equal emphasis on construction, transactional and arbitration/litigation
matters, and our almost exclusive representation of owners places King & Spalding in a unique
position to help guide its owner clients through all aspects of a project and to provide timely and
cost saving "trouble shooting" immediately as such need arises. Additionally, a number of
attorneys in the group were engineers or construction managers prior to arriving at King &
Spalding, experience that provides a valuable, hands-on insight into the unique challenges
construction projects present.
