แบงกลุม License โอเพนซอรสออกเปน 3 กลุม

• Open Source Virus : ตระกูล GPL ที่บังคับใหเราตองเปดเผยซอรสและเปนตอง License แบบเดียวกันเทานั้นหากนำมาพัฒนา

• Open Source แบบบังคับคืนสังคม : เราตองเปดเผยสวนที่เราปรับปรุง/พัฒนา เชน LGPL

• Open Source แบบอิสระ : ไมบังคับวาตองเปดเผยซอรส บางก็บังคับใหเครดิต เชน Public Domain, MIT License ฯลฯ

เครื่องหมายการคา • เครื่องหมายการคา ( Trade Mark) คือเครื่องหมายที่ใชเปนที่หมาย

เกี่ยวของกับสินคาเพื่อแสดงวาสินคาที่ใชเครื่องหมายนั้นแตกตางกับสินคาที่ใชเครื่องหมายการคาของบุคคลอื่น เชน โคก เปปซี่ บรีส แฟบ เปนตน

• เครื่องหมายบริการ (Service Mark) เครื่องหมายที่ใชเปนที่หมายหรือเกี่ยวของกับการบริการ เพื่อแสดงวาบริการที่ใชเครื่องหมายนั้นแตกตางกับบริการที่ใชเครื่องหมายบริการของบุคคลอื่น เชน เครื่องหมายของสายการบิน ธนาคาร โรงแรม เปนตน

• เครื่องหมายรับรอง (Certification Mark) คือเครื่องหมายที่เจาของ

เครื่องหมายรับรองใชเปนเครื่องหมายหรือเกี่ยวของกับสินคาและบริการของบุคคลอื่น เพื่อเปนการรับรองคุณภาพของสินคา หรือบริการนั้น เชน เชลลชวนชิม แมชอยนางรำ เปนตน

• เครื่องหมายรวม (Collective Mark) เครื่องหมายการคาหรือเครื่องหมายบริการที่ใชโดยบริษัทหรือรัฐวิสาหกิจในกลุมเดียวกัน หรือโดยสมาชิกของสมาคม กลุมบุคคล หรือองคกรอื่นใดของรัฐหรือเอกชน เชน ตราชางของบริษัทปูนซิเมนไทย จำกัด เปนตน
