• 汉字产生的确切年代还不能断定。• 从近年考古研究的资料来看，汉字的历史可以远

溯到五六千年前。

• 隶书在汉代是正式字体。

• 早期的隶书，仍保留了一些篆书的风格，后期的隶书笔画趋于平直，后来更添了波势和挑法，字形也渐成扁方形了。

• 蚕头燕尾• A horizontal stroke in the official hand starts with a

“silkworm’s head” and ends in a “swallow’s tail”.

• 用点、横、竖、撇、捺等笔画转写篆书所发生的变化叫作“隶变”。

• 隶变使汉字进一步变成纯粹符号性质的文字，可以说是由古汉字演变为现代汉字的一种过渡字体。

• 楷书是由隶书演变来的，是点、横、竖、撇、捺等笔画进一步的发展。

• 楷书萌芽于西汉，成熟于东汉末年，魏晋以后就大大流行，直到现在，楷书仍然是汉字的标准字体。

• 欧阳询：欧体• 其楷书法度严谨，笔力险峻，世称“唐人楷书第

一”，代表作《九成宫醴泉铭》。• 柳公权：柳体• 其楷书清健遒劲，结体严谨，笔法精妙，笔力挺拔，世称“柳体”，代表作《玄秘塔碑》和《神策军碑》

• 颜真卿：颜体• 其楷书端庄雄伟，气势开张，世称“颜体”，代表作《多宝塔碑》。

• 赵孟頫：赵体• 其楷书圆润清秀，端正严谨，又不失行书之飘逸娟秀，世称“赵体”，代表作《玄妙观重修三门记》。

• 草书 cursive script

汉字的演变

• 自有汉字以来，各种字体都有草率的写法。到了汉代“草书”成为一种字体的专称，说明它已经发展成一种具有特色的字体了。草书共有三种：

• 章草是就隶书形体而加以变化的，源于汉代• 今草是章草的继续，楷书的快写，起于东汉• 狂草是在今草的基础上恣意连写，兴于唐代

• 行书是介于今草和楷书之间的一种字体，可以说是楷书的草化或草书的楷化，在东汉末年今草和楷书盛行的时候产生的。它有两个特点：

• 近于楷书而不拘谨，近于草书而不放纵• 笔画连绵各字独立，行云流水清晰易认
