the public because of the role played by its Western conception, cultural discourse, and treatment. •  According to D. Buckingham (1996:310), stereotyping has created an oversimplification of ethnicity

•  Feminism is constructed as an overwhelming presence to itself of the female body .(Doanne, 1991, p.22)

Government & Economy

•  . Murdock and Golding (1977: 17) support this claim by describing media organisations as puns who are subject to the forces that control the production of their economy

•  Elliot P. (1977) has been able to describe such media stereotyping as steps to maximizing audience rating by commercial media organisations whose revenues are being controlled by institutions which have been politically dominated or run by the State whose motives are driven by prevailing consensus of the heart-land.

Producers view / 24 and our world. •  According to Sahlin (1983:32) TV producers are true analysts of the culture in which they live and work, for

which they represent various societal changes to create an audience. •  Fiske (T.C 2011) opposes this by describing T.V as a culture that processes the production and circulation of

various meanings of television work merely to create a social identity for people involved. •  Nigerian Terror. : http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/06/boko-haram-catch-shekau-get-n1-1bn-us/
