THRILLER OPENING

DESCRIPTION OF STORYLINE

• The idea for our thriller is to show a planning of a killing.

• We want to base our whole trhiller opening around the number 6 as this is the 'devils number' so this will be effective for the genre.

• To do this we want to show a woman who is having a completely normal day however as the audience we will see visual clues to do with the number 6 so we know something bad is about to happen but she does not.

• We will be showing quick flashes of 5 other killings that have already happened and the 6th one will not have happened yet to link back to the idea of highlighting the number 6.

• We will not be showing the killing of the 6th woman as this would be what would happen in the rest of the film and not in the opening.

CHARACTERSThe Killer - This will not be a human, it will be created via the clues we show.

The Woman - played by Alyesha Moodley.

LOCATION, COSTUME, EQUIPMENTWe decided to use Aarons house for our location as he lives opposite a forest so it fits in perfectly with the genre therefore we could use this for scenic shots. We will be using the Kitchen, Bathroom, Living room, Hallway and front of house.

Our Thriller is set in the 21st century therefore the characters costumes will very modern and trendy.

Alyesha is a business women who has just come home from a busy day at work so she will be wearing formal clothing (shirt, blazer, skirt)

Most of the equipment needed will be provided by the school (tripod) and we will be using Omar's Canon camera to film our opening as we wanted it to look more professional.
