Hello! We are the first participants of DFC Contest

from Russia.

Page 3: Design for change access

We live in Birobidzhan. Our town is situated in the Far East of the Russia.Although we live in a small town in a remote region of our country we are worried about the most pressing and urgent problems in the world.

Page 4: Design for change access

We were inspired by the DFC, which makes a lot of good and kind things in the whole world, that’s why we decided to take part in this project.

Let’s see what we’ve done.

FeelOne day Chuck Sandy

visited Russia and Birobidzhan. He

presented Design For Change Contest, and

we decided to become a part of this

movement.

ImagineChuck helped us to become DFC members, and we tried to imagine what we can do. After hours of brainstorming we chose a drug addiction theme.

Do!

Unfortunately, drug addiction is now the most urgent problem among young people in our town. And we have decided to fight with that. That’s why we started

an ANTI-DRUG CAMPAIGN.

Page 9: Design for change access

We prepared a lecture on the dangers of drugs. We also were going to create a lot of posters and other campaign leaflets talking about the dangers of drug abuse.

Of course we understood that is unlikely to be able to save those

who already suffer from addiction, so we decided to warn the others (especially

children) about the harm of drugs.

Thanks to the Red Cross, we were able to get a lot

of qualitative information connected with drug

habit.

From one hand we prepared very hard, but from another hand we did that with pleasure because we knew what we were doing a kind job like DFC does.

We worked together and everyone contributed.

Some of us wrote a text…

Some of us drew posters and leaflets…

and made presentations

School 1 greeted us friendly, and students listened to us with great interest.

We enjoyed working at this problem and we are proud of it. We hope that guys who listened to us

will never be a part of a drug world.
