学商学本科的高中毕业生所设计 The curriculum is designed for high school graduates who have a basic

knowledge of English, but need additional help for successful university studies or business communication.

课程主要分三级：基础、中级和高级；由入学分班测验及面试决定

A placement exam and interview will be administered upon arrival to determine the proper level at which SGBE students will begin their studies. Intermediate and Advanced levels of English instruction are offered each semester.

每一级历时 15 周，每周至少上课 15 小时，外加下午的课外活动，以加强英语听、说、读、写的训练

Each level offers a minimum of 15 classroom hours each week plus afternoon activities for 15 weeks and will include four skill areas – reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

An average day… Monday through Friday: ■ Breakfast at homestay ■ 8:30 – 9:20 a.m. Vocabulary and Reading ■ 9:30 – 10:20 a.m. Listening and Speaking ■ 10:30 – 11:20 a.m. Grammar and Writing ■ 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m Lunch in University Dining Commons ■ Afternoon activity ■ Evening meal with homestay

中学毕业 Secondary school graduate

文件证明具备基本英语沟通能力 Documentation of English proficiency; minimum high beginner/low

intermediate level

就学期间需住接待家庭：接待家庭是经中洲大学挑选及训练过的当地美国家庭。历届学生反映，与接待家庭一同生活，对他们的英语和文化适应有极大的帮助

Willing to participate in the Homestay program: Families in the local area will be selected and trained by the staff of Mid-Continent University. They will provide a safe and welcoming environment for students to continue their English learning outside of the classroom.
