1) Hyperglycemia > 250 mg/dL

2) Metabolic Acidosis (High Anion gap > 12 mEq/L)

HCO3 < 15 mEq/L or

Arterial pH < 7.3

3) Ketonemia (moderately positive) or Ketonuria
