Materials and resources: FLASHCARDS, CD PLAYER, POSTERS.
Integration of skills: reading and writing are not developed at the kindergarten level since the students are still learning how to write and read in Spanish. Listening and Speaking skills are developed through videos, song and imitation.
Seating arrangement: the students will be seated in a semicircle in order to look at each other without problems.
Possible problems / difficulties and their possible solutions during the class: The possible problem could be the pronunciation of the new words but the solution should be the repetition of complete sentences with the teacher´s help. Imitation is a good method.
Potential problems students may have with the language: the new vocabulary is quiet easy but perhaps the meaning may generate problems but the students will get to understand through guided practice and teaching strategies.
Assessment: what will be assessed and how: I will assess the student´s learning progress through repetition of sentences and asking yes/no questions to elicit them. The assessment should be done in pairs or individually, but it should be done orally.
By repeating, SS will be imitating you, but it is not for sure that they will be able to communicate.
WARM-UP (5 MINUTES)
I will greet the students and I will ask them to seat in a semi-circle. I will play the song “Hello” as in the previous class in order to make them do this as a habit.

DEVELOPMENT
ACTIVITY 1 (10 MINUTES)
I will stick on the board a picture of numbers from 1 to 6 which are the numbers they have already learnt.
I: let´s count the objects in the classroom and could you choose an object they want? Most of them choose the chairs.
I: How many chairs here?
Everyone counts together and they answer: Six.
I: Right!
I: Please, choose another object. The students choose the pencils.
I will take off all the pencils which I have in my pencil case. I put them in the center of the semi-circle. Let´s count…. How many pencils are there?
Ss: Five!
I: Oh, look at the blackboard. Are there three?
The SS answer: NO.
I: wonderful! You do the activity perfectly!
ACTIVITY 2 (10 minutes)
I: please seat in rows, looking at the front. I will play a video which shows the numbers from 1 to 10. I will switch off the lights and I will project it in the classroom.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dk9Yt1PqQiw
I: Let´s play the song! Everyone should sing! You will listen for the first time. You will try to sing the song.
I: Good! Let´s play the song for the second time!
You will try to repeat the words they know. You will repeat the numbers.
I: Great!
Well, now, you will listen the song for the third time. You will sing the whole song. Pay attention because I will stop at each number to focus on the pronunciation of each number.
I will play the song three times. They will listen the first time. In the second time, they will try to repeat the words they know, and finally, in the third time, I will stop the song between sentences and they will repeat the sentences by imitating them.
Before playing the song, you could introduce numbers 7 to 10 by counting pencils, students, etc. Then, while playing the song, you can encourage them to sing, stop at each number, ask about colour, etc. Then, the third time, they may try to sing along with you.
Please, include direct speech (what you will say to SS).
TRANSITION ( 15 MINUTES)
I will say: Good Work my dear children!
I will ask the students if they like the video.
ACTIVITY 3 (15 MINUTES)
I: Let´s work with a worksheet with numbers!.
I: Please, sit in two groups of five. I will give you some magazines and newspapers. Then, each group will have to look for classroom objects in the magazines and newspapers. Also, I will give you a blank paper. You will have to cut the objects and stick them on the blank paper which I have given to you previously.
I: Ok! Let´s count the objects!
A group counts together in a loud voice: 1, 2, 3, 4!
I: Are there four?
The SS answer: Yes!
The other group counts: 1,2,3,4,5…!
I: OK, right!
Are there 3?
The SS answer: NO!
I: Good work! You count wonderfully!
Let´s try to repeat the numbers orally! You will say the number and then, you will write it on the board and the rest of the class will repeat all together.
TRANSITION (1 MINUTE)
I: Excellent! You can do it perfectly!
ACTIVITY 3 (12 MINUTES)
I: let´s count the classroom´s objects.
I will teach that the number will be first and then the object.
I will give an example:
One chair.
One blackboard.
I will invite them to repeat the sentences.
After that, I will give examples of sentences in which there is more than one object.
I will say:
Two Chairs.
Four pencils.
I will explain that in these previous examples, the object will take “s”.
I will explain to them that they will say the number and then the object.
Also, I will explain to them that when the object is more than 1, they will say the object with “s”.
For example:
Seven chairs.
Ten pencils.
One blackboard.
