Terňais beautifully decoratedeach year.

People decorate houses, block of flats and some trees. Always they are beautifully decorated.

Christmas

Christmas trees are cut down or bought.Then people bring them home and begin to decorate.At Christmas every house has Christmas tree sparkles. 24.12.201624. December is Christmas Eve. (Christmas)

On Christmas Eve we pray. After the prayer we begin to eat.The first dish are the wafers with honey. The second dish is sauerkraut. The third dish is bobalka.Some people are happy and some are not.And finally we eat carp with salat.Someone can make a fillet or steak.

Present

After Christmas Eve everyone will finda gift with his labeland open it.

Cultural heritage

The parish house is built next to the church.The parish house is for the priest and the chaplain.

The church is the largest point of the village.Its name is the Church of Saint Catherine.

The Municipal office was under reconstruction in 2013.Now it is in green-gray colour.

The manor house is very well preserved building.3 years ago they began reconstruction works.

Every year in winter we have an ice-rink.

Boys play ice hockey and girls skate.

CountryLast year the landspace was not so snowy . This year the country is white.

Trees are covered in a white duvet.Perinbaba gave us a lot of snow.

Tracks

Bird tracks appear mainly in the forest.

We are happy that we have found some of those tracks.

We also found tracks of foxes, of dogs and of cats.

IciclesIcicles crawling with home windows.On the houses they look like ornaments.Anyone can decorate their homes with icicles.

We really enjoyed winter because it was very special.

Winter is there and we can all go sledding, go skiing, go ice skating and everything we want to do.

As you can see there is much snow.

It´s an amazing feeling when you jump into snow.
