With the discussion, it is quite clear thatlistening is one step ahead of the hearing.The hearing is simply the ability to hear, i.e.natural or God-given however, listening is anacquired communication skills, which only afew people possess.While the hearing is involuntary andperformed effortlessly, listening is doneintentionally, wherein we are selective andpay attention to only those messages, wethink important for us.
