INTRODUCTIONINTRODUCTIONChips are the most popular variety of snacks on various occasions. Besides being salty, spicy or flavored, consumer preference is always for fresh quality. Potato and banana chips are popular processed food items resulting in substantial value-addition.In now a days the rate of production is increasing because of the competition between the industries and there is a lot of demand due to population. For producing the job in less time and with correct dimension we need some production device.Same principle is applied in food industries so thats why new machine we developed for making slice of any vegetables. In Marriage parties where making foods for lot of people making slices of onion, tomatoes, papiya etc. Market OpportunitiesThere exists a very large market for chips and they can be sold at various retail outlets, paanshops, bus-stands, railway stations, roadside eateries, etc. There also exists institutional market consisting of clubs and other institutions, school & college canteens, army establishments, bars & pubs, railway and airlines caterers, etc. Competition from organized sector is increasing but local and small units have distinct advantages in terms of less overheads and transportation costs, longer shelf life, quick access to market and cost
PROBLEM DEFINATION:-In food industries making slice of papaya or onion and tomatoes or Potatoes for making chips. For making chips by hand is very slow process. And it is also time consuming process and it required many worker.
PROBLEM SOLUTION:-The solution for above problem is our machine in mass production making chips by hand is very slow. But in our machine we are making chips with help of motor which cuts chips very fast. It save time and human efforts.
CONSTRUCTION

Electric motor is the main source of energy in this project. It has the following specifications SINGLE PHASE AC MOTOR230 volt, 50 Hz, 0.5 ampsPower = 50 watt. (1/15 Hp)Speed = 0 to 6000.GUIDE PIPE:-In project the guide pipe is important part in which main shaft and plate move or slide. In pipe the material which has to cut is kept.
MAIN SHAFT:-Main shaft is connected to plate which push the material in guide pipe.
CUTTER:-Cutter is also important phenomena in project to cut material coming from guide pipe.FIXED PLATE:-The fixed plate is fixed in the pipe to guide main shaft.MOVING PLATE:-In this plate is connected to shaft which slides in
MAIN FRAME:-On the main frame whole assembly is mounted. The main frame is fabricated by using pipe.
PROJECT DESCRIPPTION
PROJECT DISCRIPATIONIn this project we are making human effort are minimum and saving time which is important in now a days. In this project on the main frame the guide pipe is fitted. In guide pipe the fixed plate is fixed. In fixed pipe main shaft moves in fixed plate. The shaft is connected to the moving plate which moves in guide pipe.
On motor the cutting blade is fitted which cuts the slices. On main frame the stopper has been placed to cut a specific size. In project blade is covered with metal box which prevent any injuries.

ACTUAL WORKING
In this machine main shaft moves in the guide pipe. Main shaft one end is moved in the fixed plate and other end is connected to moving plate. First pull the main shaft and keep material in pipe the moving plate push the material towards the cutting blade which is mounted on the motor.When motor rotates blade is also rotates which the material according to size we set. The motor speed is regulated by the regulator according to our Requirement.
