Video Title: Dear Darlin- Olly Murs

VIDEO AUDIO

LYRICS / NARRATION / MUSIC / FX

1. 0:00 – 0:30 – A multiple of extreme wide shots of the town to introduce the scene location. From a landscape distance view of the town. Cut to scene 2.

For around 5-8 seconds there will be sound FX of

general town sounds to go with the location.

2. 0:30 – 1:00 – Introduction of the vocalist starting with a close up shot of the vocalists face. His facial expressions will be drowsy, tired and depressed. This will give first expressions of him being upset. This will play through the first chorus. Cut to scene 3.

When the close up shot appears the music will

start in and he starts to sing

please excuse my writing.

I can’t stop my hands from shaking

3.1:00 – 1:30 – The vocalist will be walking through the town followed by a camera on a rig. The vocalist will be holding a scrap book and pen in one hand. Cut to scene 4.

4.1:30 – 2:00 – Clips of a past argument the couple has to show narration. The camera will be slow and smoothly ran on a dolly using a wide shot angle to get the whole picture of the argument. Cut to scene 5.

Bangs and crash sounds used as objects are

thrown

The lyrics and music will be played in the

background.

5. 2:00 – 2:30 – The two couples will randomly bump into each other on the street. She takes notice and looks shocked but ignores him and walks in a different direction.An OSS (over shoulder shot) will be used to show the expressions on the woman’s face as she bumps into the vocalist. The camera will then switch after she leaves to the vocalist using a close up shot to show the upset and depressed features upon his face.Cut to scene 6.

Been thinking about the bar we drank in.

Feeling like the sofa was sinking.

I was warm in the hold of your eyes.

So if my words break through the wall

To meet you at your door,

All I can say is “Girl, I mean them all.”

6. 2:30 – 3:00 – At this point I will do the same for number 3. The vocalist will be strolling through the town with his hands in his pocket looking lonely and upset. Cut to scene 7.

7.3:00 – 3:30 – It ends with the vocalist sat on his bed with a picture of his lover in his hand. I will use a POV view for this so you can see from the vocalists eyes. His hands are shaking and tears fall onto the photo. For this I will use a wide shot so you can see his whole figure the bed. The room will be basically empty so the atmosphere seems abandoned. Then he looks to the right of him and picks up a notepad and pen and that’s when the song finishes. The vocalist will have his back to the camera then it will fade out.End of video.
