Arunodaya Shikshan Samiti run Physically Challenged Free centre and is devoted entirely to the upliftment of such children who are Mentally Retarded and Physically Handicapped. Its vision is to use all the modern methods of social service to bring up the children who are affected mentally and physically, both in the Urban and Rural areas to live happily as normal children. Free medical camp organized by Arunodaya Shikshan Samiti in association with Prajwala Vani Welfare Society drew a good number of physically and mentally challenged people apart from the hearing-impaired between the age-group of 10 and 25.

AWARENESS PROGRAM :- AIDS/HIV Awareness ProgramHIV is a virus that gradually attacks the immune system, which is our body’s natural defense against illness. If a person becomes infected with HIV, they will find it harder to fight off infections and diseases. So the address the above problem, our organization has organized number of awareness camps with the youths aged between 18-25 years to avoid the possibility of HIV contaminations. The medical experts discussed regarding the disease, how to combat it to the youths. This is one of our ongoing program.

Legal Literacy CampLegal Awareness & Legal Aid program was organized by our organization. Sri Ratan Mandal, Counselor, Durg Legal Services Authority addressed the gathering and rendered legal aid and assistance. 30 persons benefited from the camp as their problems were directly addressed by Sri Ratan Mandal who gave appropriate advice. Information booklets were also distributed to the public in general for Legal Awareness. The camp targets to provide legal aid for the Women on the Violence happening on them, the team of advocates reached the Camp to guide the Women in legal issues.

WOMEN EMPOWERMENTGram Sabha Jagrukta Program The Gram Sabha Jagruti camp has been organized by the organization to impart learning on the rights provided to every individual to participate in Gram Sabha. Different success stories of the successful Gram Sabha were shared to motivate people to take part in Gram Sabha and give their feedback to the Gram Panchayet for their development plan.

Workshop on Fabric painting on cloth was organized in Dongargaon, with total 25 women young girls as participants. They were excited to gain the technical know-how of such delegate work. One Beautician course was also organized with 25 women from Somni, where our trainers explained about personal hygiene. This will help the women to start own business at the household level.

Plantation program was organized on World Environment day, in the presence of Hon. Mr. Dinesh Gandhi. The importance of environment promotion has been discussed with the children, youth and village people. Our organization and the members present in the event taken Oath to save this planet from the ill effect of pollution and deforestation. 10000 samplings were planted at over 20 points of the Rajnandgaon flowed by the program in next few days.

Swarna Jayanti Gram Swarojgar Yojna

Swarna Jayanti Gram Swarojgar Yojna was launched as an integrated program for self-employment of the rural poor with effect from 1 April 1999. The objective of the scheme is to bring the assisted poor families above the poverty line by organising them into Self Help Groups (SHGs) through the process of social mobilisation, their training and capacity building and provision of income generating assets through a mix of bank credit and government subsidy. This program has been implemented supported by Zilla Panchayat, Jabalpur

Computer Center for the Youths of the Area to make them Computer Literate and Expert to meet with the Present day Challenges. 50 Youths learn Computer from the center in 2 Batches.Course Name:-Center Location:-

Arunadaya N.G.O. Has been Organized 66 Nos. Of Women Self-Help Group (SHG) at Various areas who are know Started Several Income Generation Programs and Earn Money and Support their Children for Schooling. Those have been Linkage with the Banks through our Organization Efforts. The groups are now making doing Several Individual Based and Group Based Income Generation Activities and Empowered towards and Improved Quality of Life. This has been Possible due to our Organization Support.

Our Organization has Organized Medical Camp in Remote Villages where the Doctors came for Health Check up, Treatment given to the Patients and we have Provided Minor Medicines to the Patients. These Camp help the Participants to Lead a Healthy Life.
