The best way to become a runner…

…is to start running!(That can be easier said than done, so let’s go over some tips)

Establish  a  Rou-neGive yourself something to

look forward to.

Put together a tasty and nutritious breakfast, pick out a colorful outfit, and compile a

playlist of your favorite upbeat songs.

Create  a  System  of  Rewards

Give yourself a treat for your good behavior — this can be snuggling up on the couch, a

tempting yet nutritious snack, or a night out with your friend.

Find  a  Happy  PlaceComfort should be your priority when

approaching a change in exercising habits. Use comfy running attire, find stimulating

running trails, and use running as an excuse to explore new places!

Remember  the  DreamWhy do you want to start running? Is it a health

goal, weight loss, or that mental feeling of accomplishment and runner’s high?

Whatever your reasons are, make an effort to routinely remind yourself of them week after week. This will serve as positive reinforcement and push

you to keep going when you’re feeling unmotivated!
