2009 年 1 月 8 日蛇鶴詠春國術總會（蛇鶴詠春門）於香港正式成立，蛇鶴詠春

門於晚清因李文茂帶領梨園子弟參與太平天國起義事敗後，經歷被追殺及作隱

蔽，至今已有個半多世紀，現由蛇鶴詠春門第五傳羅昭榮師傅交一面帥旗給翁國

榮師傅，同時，世界功夫武術段位制會長及大聖劈掛門宗師陳秀中師傅再親自送

贈兩面對旗作賀，標致着蛇鶴詠春門經歷個半世紀隱蔽後再從新公開露面，會長

翁國榮接受帥旗及兩面對旗，同時亦回贈紀念牌於陳秀中師傅，儀式過後隨即作

一個私人匯演，向紐約大學交流生作中國功夫文化交流表演，表演主要是蛇鶴詠

春拳及太極拳。

Snake Crane Wing Chun Mun open to public

On 8th January 2009, Snake Crane Wing Chun Martial Arts Association蛇鶴詠春國

術總會 is formally established in Hong Kong. In late Qing Dynasty, the Snake

Crane Wing Chun Mun蛇鶴詠春門 was prosecuting, after the failure of rebellion of

Li Man Mau李文茂, together with the Red Boat紅船 members, joining Tai Ping

Heavenly Kingdom太平天國. Till now, it hides itself over one and a half century.

The 5th generation follower of the Mun, Grandmaster Law Chiu Wing羅昭榮 gifted

a marshal flag（帥旗） to Sifu Wayne Yung. Also, president of the World Organization

of Martial Arts Kung Fu Masters世界功夫武術段位總會 and the Grandmaster of

Tai Shing Pek Kwar Mun大聖劈掛門, Grandmaster Chan Sau Chung陳秀中 gifted

a pair flags對旗 to celebrate the formation of the association. It leads the Snake

Crane Wing Chun Mun蛇鶴詠春門 re-open to the public again, after hiding itself

over one and a half century. The President, Sifu Wayne Yung received those flags

to manage the Mun門, and at the same time, to gife a souvenir to Grandmaster Chan

陳秀中. Afterwards, Snake Crane Wing Chun Mun蛇鶴詠春門 demonstrated a

Kung Fu culture show to the New York University MBA students. The show was

mainly on Snake Crane Wing Chun Kuen蛇鶴詠春拳 and Tai Chi Chuan太極拳.

蛇鶴詠春創於南少林寺永春殿，由至善禪師跟五梅師太及一眾弟子們所創，至善

禪師精於蛇形拳，而五梅師太則善於鶴形拳，並觀察蛇鶴生活動形態演變而成，

所以這套拳法多以蛇手及鶴手為招式，尤以攤、膀、伏及標指為甚，故名『蛇鶴

詠春』。蛇鶴詠春在練習黐手時，可矇著眼睛練習，故稱『盲拳』，還有在練習

時多在家中，故亦稱『歸家拳』。

Accordingly, ‘Snake Crane Wing Chun蛇鶴詠春’ was developed in the Wing Chun

House永春殿, one of the houses in the Southern Shaolin Temple and used to train the

guardian monks the Shaolin martial art, by the monk "Grandmaster Chi Sin至善禪師

" and the nun "Grandmaster Ng Mui五梅師太", as well as numerous experienced

guardian monks. Grandmaster Chi Sin至善禪師was good at the "Snake form蛇形"

and Grandmaster Ng Mui五梅師太 was good at the “Crane form鶴形”, and they

observed the daily activities of the life of the snake and the crane to develop these

skills. Because a lot of the Snake's hands and the Crane's hands can be found,

especially the TanSau攤手, BongSau膀手, FookSau伏手 and BiuJee標指, it is

called ‘Snake Crane Wing Chun蛇鶴詠春’. Eyes can be covered during practice to

develop quick reflexes via the Sticky Hands黐手 drill and is called ‘Blink Kune盲

拳’. Training is always done at home, never in the open, and is also called ‘Home

Kuen歸家拳’.

蛇鶴詠春傳承自紅船大花面申錦，晚年傳羅梯雲，羅再傳子定周，上世紀四十年

代，由羅定周帶來香港，再傳子昭榮至今，經歷三代，已变成羅氏家藝，二十一

世紀才公開教授。在拳套方面，內有小念頭、尋橋、標指、轆手、黐手、散式、

木椿法、滕圈法、筷子法、六點半棍及雙刀等，並附有練功口訣，其中小念頭還

有一首『念頭歌』詩描述其招式及這拳法的由來，手法以擒拿及穴位攻打為主。

The mastery of Snake Crane Wing Chun蛇鶴詠春 was bequeathed to Grandmaster

Sun Kam申錦, a member of Red Boat Opera紅船戲班. In his late age,

Grandmaster Law Tai Wen羅悌雲 was one of his students. Afterwards,

Grandmaster Law羅悌雲 taught his son, Law Ting Chau羅定周, the skill. In the

1940s, Grandmaster Law Ting Chau羅定周 came to Hong Kong. He passed the

skill to his son, Law Chiu Wing羅昭榮. All successors since Grandmaster Sun Kam

申錦 are in the lineage of Law’s family羅家 for three generations. They have kept

the Snake Crane Wing Chun蛇鶴詠春 in a very low profile. In Snake Crane Wing

Chun蛇鶴詠春, there are SiuLimTau小念頭, ChumKiu尋橋, BiuChi標指, LukSau

轆手, ChiSau黐手, SanSik散式, Dummy techniques木人樁法, Rattan ring籐圈法,

Chopstick筷子法, Long pole六點半棍 and Twin knives雙刀. It also comes with a

lot of training formulae and poems. One of it is called ‘LimTau Song念頭歌’ and

describes the techniques of SiuLimTau小念頭 and how Snake Crane Wing Chun蛇

鶴詠春 comes from. These skills mainly on the grabbing, and hitting the weak

points.

蛇鶴詠春早於上世紀曾由羅昭榮師傅叔父羅君籌先生在精武體育會作短暫教

授，及後七十年代由其徒兒陳榮錚師傅（坐在陳秀中師傅右手邊）在新武俠雜誌

招登廣告作公開教授，後來在其師反對下亦再度停止公開授徒。自始以後，再沒

有蛇鶴詠春消息，至這世紀，才正式再作公開教授，蛇鶴詠春國術總會正式成立，

代表了蛇鶴詠春門不再作隱蔽，亦不再只作羅氏家藝，今天正式公開發揚蛇鶴詠

春拳藝，令此拳藝得以延續下去。

Last century, Mr. Law Kun Chau羅君籌, uncle of Grandmaster Mr. Law Chiu Wing

羅昭榮, taught the Snake Crane Wing Chun蛇鶴詠春 in Hong Kong JingWu

Association香港精武體育會. Afterwards, he stopped without any reasons. Also, in

1974, Sifu Chan Wing Chan陳榮錚, (sitting on the right side of Grandmaster Chan

Sau Chung陳秀中), posted an advertisement to teach the Snake Crane Wing Chun蛇

鶴詠春 to the public in the New Martial Hero magazine. Later, Grandmaster Law

羅昭榮 knew that, and strongly forbid. Then there was no more news about the

open teaching of Snake Crane Wing Chun蛇鶴詠春 until today. Presently, with

the formation of the Snake Crane Wing Chun Martial Arts Association, it means that

the Snake Crane Wing Chun Mun蛇鶴詠春門 stops hiding itself and the skills are

not limited to Law’s family only. Now, the Snake Crane Wing Chun蛇鶴詠春 is

open to all, and hopes that the descendants will maintain it and pass it on to future

generations.
