It is the most comprehensive account placement and management system in the industry, allowing users to view data generated as recently as yesterday. The PlacementsPlus service: Scrubs for bankrupt and deceased accounts Executes client business rules for portfolio management, segmentation and distribution Places the account with the identified agency or attorney Supports automated recall, re-evaluation or replacement of accounts Provides a full reporting suite to analyze agency and portfolio performance Manages exception handling of receivables Provides reporting on collection activities and results for sophisticated management of third party placements New functionality » enhances PlacementsPlus PlacementsPlus service now offers new features to assist credit grantors in improving collections, and in maximizing the value of portfolio sales. Customer-Level collections PlacementsPlus service allows credit grantors to manage the collection of multiple contingency accounts for a single customer, thus ensuring that the agency working a particular account has full visibility into the indebtedness of the customer. With customer-level functionality, IDs are assigned to link multiple accounts to a single customer, which allows you to manage multiple debt items as a single entity. Customer-level functionality enables you to define placement, recall and commission rules for the customer. You can also search and enter work queue requests for these same customers. Debt Sales The Debt Sales module in PlacementsPlus service provides credit grantors with the means to initiate, execute, monitor and report their debt sales—both forward flow and one-off debt sale events. This functionality provides additional visibility and control over the debt sale process which will help ensure that credit grantors will be able to maximize the value they receive from the sale of their portfolios. Business rules management functionality through the integration of FICO™ Blaze Advisor® enhances control and improves collections results. Now business users gain improved control over processes, including account handling through the lifecycle of recoveries, commission calculations and the automation of responses to account exception requests. The ability for business users to automate the execution of day-to-day basic business rules provides for operating efficiencies, increased perform ance and lower costs.

Single interface »The FICO™ PlacementsPlus® service provides a single interface—through the FICO® Network—with agencies for the placement, management, reporting and exception processing of receivables.

Through this network, credit grantors can monitor their agencies’ performance and compliance to established service-level agreements, as well as provide the ability to rapidly replace a non-performing agency.

This ability to replace agencies offers the credit grantor tremendous savings in interface costs and prevents the loss of revenue due to account inactivity.

Reporting suite »The PlacementsPlus service includes a reporting suite—a set of performance reports that gives the credit grantor an unprecedented view into the activities of the agencies working its accounts. With OLAP-based technology, the PlacementsPlus service provides even more configurable user-defined reports, which can be generated in seconds. These include batch-track reporting on both summary and comparative levels, as well as reports for agency collection activity, inventory, key benchmarks and financials.

The PlacementsPlus Work Queue manages exceptions-handling requests and responses such as settlements, complaints, media, recall extensions, legal, arbitration and fraud.

Combine with Placement » OptimizerSM serviceWhen combined with the Placement Optimizer service, the PlacementsPlus service offers the greatest benefit potential through optimized placement and reduced infrastructure costs.

The Placement Optimizer service maximizes net recoveries, or netback, to credit grantors by ensuring that each optimized account is sent to the agency most likely to maximize collections on accounts of that type. A control group ensures apples-to-apples comparison of results. The solution can significantly reduce the administrative costs associated with receivables collection for both credit grantors and collection agencies.
