A Costa do Descobrimento, localizada no extremo sul do estado da Bahia, Brasil, tem esse nome porque foi onde, no ano de 1500, os portugueses desembarcaram pela primeira vez no

Brasil.

Constituída pelos municípios de Belmonte, Santa Cruz Cabrália e Porto Seguro, que tem em seus distritos de Arraial d’Ajuda,

Trancoso e Caraíva alguns dos destinos turísticos mais procurados do Brasil, a Costa do Descobrimento é formada por

praias paradisíacas e vilarejos charmosos com inúmeras opções de lazer, hospedagem e gastronomia e vem encantando há

décadas um público exigente e requintado que todos os anos se faz presente para desfrutar das maravilhas da região e sua

natureza exuberante.

The Discovery Coast is located in the south of the state of Bahia, Brazil, and has this name due to the fact

this is where in 1500, Brazil was discovered by Portuguese. The Coast stretches from the towns of

Belmonte through Santa Cruz Cabrália to Porto Seguro and south, where you find Arraial d’Ajuda, Trancoso and

Caraíva, which are the most sought after tourist destinations of Brazil.

The Discovery Coast has beautiful well preserved

beaches and charming villages, with innumerable options of leisure, lodging and gastronomy and has been

enchanting for decades a demanding and refined public, that every year comes to enjoy the wonders of the region

and its exuberant nature.
