We wanted to work with BOH students to understand how they worked with their material so we could gain insights into the best way to structure the portfolio.

Our First Misconception

We had assumed that students would see the relevance of learning how to develop a portfolio.

Student feedback suggested they saw no real point in spending time on this and that it created pressure on an already busy workload.

Where to in 2008

• Investment by external funding groups – rSmart & IBM

• Ongoing discussions with DCNZ about a national system

• Continued testing and development of the prototype

• Work with staff & students to develop personal portfolios

2008 Invitation to Students

We are looking for a small number of students keen to develop their personal portfolio. We would work with you and develop the portfolio around your requirements.

The time involved will depend on how much you wish to develop your ePortfolio.

2008 Staff

We are keen to continue working with staff on refining their portfolios in 2008.

We are happy to run a number of group sessions and work with you one-to-one to help you complete your first cycle.
