Daman-e-koh
Its a spot in the hills around Islamabad. The whole city can be viewed from here. Even
Rawal Dam Lake can be viewed from here. Its name is a conjunction of two words in Urdu:
Daman, which means center and Koh, which means hill.
It has two picnic spots, known as the “north” and “south” viewpoints, with parking available at both spots.
There is a plan to construct a chairlift from Daman-e-Koh to Pir Sohawa which is due to start in the near future.

Pir-Sohawa Pir Sohawa is a popular place close to Islamabad
with a breathtaking view of the city. It’s a fantastic place for a leisure walk down
pleasant jungle paths. Enjoy a picnic in a wild jungle setting while watching wildlife and listening to a mala of bird calls.
In the deep valleys of Pir Sohawa are picturesque thatched mud houses and along the road are a couple of restaurants selling pakoras a favorite snack in the area.
After monsoon rains the jungles in the hills of Pir Sohawa turn green.

Said pur village Saidpur village is developed by CDA for Preserving
the heritage. Its in the lap of Margallah Hills at a walking distance from Marghazar Zoo.
One such village is Saidpur, situated just off the Margalla Road, hardly a 5 five minutes drive from the upscale neighborhoods of Islamabad.
Saidpur is named after Said Khan, the son of Sultan Sarang Khan, the Gakhar chief of the Potohar region during Emperor Babur’s time. Emperor Jahangir’s memoir, Tuzke Jahangiri, mentions Jahangir halting at a place “beyond Rawalpindi”, on his way to Kabul. From his description it seems the place was Saidpur.
