본 보고서는 MagnaChip 환경안전보건 활동에 대하여 작성되었습니다. 과거 실적과의 정량적 정보 비교를 위해

2015~2017년(3개년간)의 정보를 수록하였습니다. 매그나칩반도체는 2008년 6월 보고서 1호를 펴낸 이후 2년

을 주기로 보고서를 발간하고 있습니다.

This report includes Magnachip’s environmental safety and health activities. It contains data of 2015~2017

(3 years) to be easily compared with the previous publications. MagnaChip has been publishing ESH reports

biennially since its first publication in June 2008.

본 보고서는 2007 환경보고서 가이드라인을 기준으로 하여 작성하였습니다.

가이드라인에 상세 사항을 규정하지 않은 경우에는 회사의 관리기준에 따랐습니다.

on ESH and continuously promote enhancement of ESH;

교육ESH Education

전사원 및 협력업체 근로자의 환경·안전·보건 의식 향상을 위하여 다양한 ESH 교육프로그램을 진행하고 있습니

work environment assessment, medical check-up, suspected virus carrier monitoring, and employee health

improvement programs.

작업 환경 및 사무공간 공기질 측정 Work Place Air Quality Monitoring

유기용제, 분진 등 유해물질을 허용기준치 대비 5% 미만으로 관리하고 있으며, 지속적인 현장 개선을 통해 쾌적한

작업환경을 유지하고 있습니다. 이 외에도 사무공간의 미세먼지, 부유분진, 소음 측정을 연 1회 실시하고 있으며, 연

2회(직독식, 뱃지착용) 방사선 노출선량측정을 실시하여 해당Area의 방사선 안전을 모니터링하고 있습니다.

Organic solvents, noise, dust and other potentially harmful substances are managed under 5% of the

permissible limits to provide more pleasant work environment. Office areas are monitored for fine dust,

floating particles and noises every year and, to monitor radiation safety of the areas, radiation absorption is

assessed twice a year (by direct reading, wearing badges).

spouses in addition to pre-/post- employment check-ups and general/ optional check-ups. Based on check-

A professional nurse is in charge of providing over-counter-drugs, first-aid, and health counseling& education

at the center. The center serves as a nursing room with a massage chair and counseling office where

employees can assess various medical services such as BMI test or stress assessment. There is also a female-

only healing room where female employees can rest during their monthly menstruation periods.

conserve the local environment and it has been engaged in environment clean-up efforts, with high awareness

of the importance of the surrounding environment including mountains and rivers.

수변 정화 활동 Clean up Water side

대청호는 1980년에 준공된 우리나라에서 세번째로 넓은 인공호수 이며 부근의 경치가 아름다워 사람들의 발길

이 끊이지 않는 지역입니다. 또한 매그나칩 반도체는 대청호 최대 수요처로서 월 20만톤의 공업용수를 공급받

고 있습니다. 이에 한국수자원공사 및 관련 시민단체와 연합하여 대청호 일대 환경보전활동을 지속적으로 진행

하고 있습니다.

MagnaChip is one of the biggest beneficiaries of Daecheong-ho lake which was constructed n 1980s as

the third largest artificial lake in the country and one of the famous tourist attractions, relying on it for

approximately 200,000 tons of water for monthly industrial use. MagnaChip participates in clean-up drives

and conservation programs in collaboration with the Korea Water Resources Corporation and NGOs in an on-

going effort to maintain the pristine beauty of the lake.

산업단지 방문객 및 인근 지역주민들에게 보다 깨끗하고 청결한 산업단지 이미지를 심어주고, 환경친화적인 산

업단지로 가꾸어 나가기 위하여 산업단지공단과 자발적으로 주기적인 정화활동을 진행 중이며, 또한 주기적으

로 등산로 및 산성 주변 정화활동을 전개하고 있습니다.

MagnaChip continues to ensure that the industrial complexes of which its fabrication facilities are part, as well

as the local environment surrounding the complexes, are kept clean. MagnaChip employees voluntarily clean

up hiking paths leading to nearby mountains and other scenic locales. And by these activities, Magnachip win

the environmental grand prize by Ministry of environment (Guem-river office)

매그나칩 반도체는 사랑 나눔 실천을 통하여 기업 이윤 추구뿐 아니라 공동체 사회구성원의 책임과 역할을 다하

기 위하여 지속적인 성금모금 및 자원봉사활동을 통해 전사원이 함께 할 수 있는 사회공원 프로그램을 지속적으

자발적으로 기증한 물품들을 전달하였고, 남에게 사용가치가 있는 물품등을 사고 파는 나눔과 자원 순환의 문화

를 확산 및 어려운 이웃을 도와주는 기회에 동참하고 있습니다.
