Do not miss this opportunity to grow closer to the Eucharist by viewing this incredible display. BLESSED CARLO ACUTIS We will have video about Carlo Actuis the teenager from Italy who put together this amazing display. Born May 3, 1991, Carlo Acutis was an Italian Roman Catholic teenager known for his cheerful demeanor and computer science skills. Carlo also had a deep devotion to the Eucharist, which he put into action by documenting Eucharistic miracles from around the world and cataloging them. When he contracted leukemia, Carlo offered his suffering up for the pope and the Church. He died in 2006 at the age of 15. On Oct. 10, 2020, Carlo Acutis was beatified at a special Mass in the city of Assisi, putting the late teenager just one step away from saint-hood. For info: Mike Bub at 715-748-3336 ext. 248

THANK YOU to everyone that made our Annual St. Peter Spring Turkey Dinner a great success! We served 435 dinners. There was indeed some challenges to this year's dinner, but thanks to everyone's help and patience, we were able to pull it off very smoothly. We certainly appreciate all the time and donations given. It was truly a pleasure to see everyone working together and enjoying each other's fellowship. Thank you for all your support! THANKS to your generous support, Cross Catholic Outreach shipped 61,422 Boxes of Joy to children in need around the world. These children, who some had never received a Christmas gift in their lives, received one for the first time. In a year marked by the pandem-ic, the joy you imparted was particularly significant in the “JOY” on the faces of these children and their families! Thank you for putting your faith in action! …….. PLEASE NOTE: On April 15, the Department of Health and Human Services announced that it would eliminate the Protect Life Rule, which kept federal Title X money for family planning away from abortion businesses. The Protect Life Rule made it mandatory for abortion businesses to be physically and financially sepa-rated from family planning clinics. Also, under Protect Life, Title X clinics were forbidden to refer patients for abortions. With the elimination of the Protect Life Rule, Title X clinics will be able to use federal funds (YOUR hard earned money) to fund abortion. You have an opportunity to be heard. A change in this type of rule requires a period of public comment, which is already underway. By submit-ting a comment on the HHS website, you can tell the president that you do not want YOUR tax dollars to be used for abortions. Comments will be accepted until May 17, so please submit one as soon as possible. And ask every like-minded person you know to submit a comment as well. Let’s make sure this administration knows how Americans feel about being forced to subsidize abor-tion. Go to www.federalregister.gov/documents/2021/04/15/2021-07762/ensuring-access-to-equitable-affordable-client-centered quality-family-planning-services
