This material has been developed with the Learning Resource Management Development System – Schools Division Office of Apayao (LRMDS SDO Apayao) and has been implemented

Ang Mahiwagang Palayok Sa isang malayong lugar, may mag-inang nakatira sa
isang kubo. Isang umaga, ang ina ay may nakitang
isang maruming palayok sa kanilang pintuan. Kinuha
niya ang palayok hinugasan at inilagay niya sa
kanilang lumang mesa. Pagkatapos ay lumabas siya
nag-iisip kung saan siya kukuha ng kanilang pagkain.
Nagising ang kanyang anak pumunta sa kusina at
nakita niya ang palayok sa mesa. Dahil sa gutom,
agad na binuksan niya ang palayok at napasigaw
siya sa gulat.
Pumasok ang ina sa kanilang kubo pagkarinig sa
sigaw ng kanyang anak.
Nagulat siya sa kanyang nakita. May pagkain sa loob
ng palayok. Nagyakapan silang mag-ina dahil sa
tuwa. Agad na nagpasalamat sila sa Panginoon dahil
sa biyayang natangap. Magmula noon, hindi na ulit
nagutom ang mag-ina dahil sa mahiwagang palayok.
