Business environment Descriptions Rank/ TrendMongolia is ranked 76th out of 185 economies in Doing Business 2013. Its overall score is 12 points higher compared to 2012, reflecting an 56 point increase in the Starting a Business indicator
Mongolia’s credit rating is upgrading due to giant mining projects and financial system development. S&P: B+, Moody’s: B2, Fitch: B+ Outlook: Stable
Mongolia’s economic freedom score is 58.9, making its economy the 97th freest in the 2014. Mongolia is ranked 19th out of 42 countries in the Asia–Pacific region.
The Political risk rating is 65.5 or ranked 62th out of 140 countries. Mongolian political system is more democracy compared to other mining emerging countries
In terms of Corruption index: The biggest news is clearly that Mongolia has jumped from 120th to 94th least corrupt country in Transparency International 2013.

Mongolia is the least densely populated country in the world. It is governed by an open, democratic government and a free market economy. There is wide spread access to the Internet and 97 per cent of the population is literate.
Also Mongolia is no longer in the wilderness when it comes to global business. In fact, its strategic location to resource-hungry China is an enviable strength
