Interpersonal Role

Born and brought up in Chennai, this IITan has led product management for Chrome and OS ,

was largely responsible for   , and headed Google's    Division.

• Humanity - Humanity manifests itself in compassion, understanding, and a willingness to put people before profits.  Mr. Pichai as a “deeply thoughtful, caring human person,” he is verifying the people first character of Sundar Pichai.

• Understated - Pichai himself, however, seems unchanged: he remains unflappable, understated and unfalteringly polite.

• Relationships - The human connection reveals an emotional intelligence, which recognizes inspiring ideas attract talent, but only deep connections build teams, but his ability to attract talent, because he values people.

• Visionary - So when Pichai talks about the next billion people about to come online with smartphones, I get the impression that, for him, Google’s monetization strategy really is secondary to Pichai’s stated goal: giving people everywhere the power of Google’s machine learning whenever and wherever they need it.

7 things that prove Sundar Pichai as the Leader■ Worked for Mckinsey then google - After graduation from Wharton University, he joined

Mckinsey Company and worked for some years but then he left it and joined Google in 2004.

■ Talented -  He is very delighted with his new decision and expects Google to lead the world under his supervision.

■ Focused on his work - Pichai is very much focused towards his work according to Brin in his blog which brings growth to the product sector of the company at a rapid pace.

■ Emerged as One among the few top Ceo’s - Pichai has been named as the top CEO of any company in the 40s years of age after some of the Top businessman like Satya Nadella was named as the CEO of Microsoft becoming the tech giant after chief executive Steve Ballmer and bill gates at their 40’s.

– Despite a few hiccups in the Chrome launch, Pichai took increasing oversight on the development of chrome

– This decision made him more noticeable in the company and made him the Vice President

■ Ties with and One– Sundar Pichai is believed to be the man responsible for

keeping smooth ties with partners like Samsung– He recently also launched the Android One initiative in India

by teaming up with local manufacturers like Micromax, Spice and Karbonn

INFORMATIONAL ROLES - Monitor■ He also monitor some of Google’s core efforts like Gmail, Google Drive and

Google Maps.■ Though those efforts have yet to catch on, Pichai wants to expand and monitor

low-end Android smartphones in emerging markets.■ By applying various effective strategies like google photos, google maps and

smart personal assistant chrome has been a huge success recording a market share of 45%.

ROLE OF A DESSIMINATOR

■ Mr.Sundar Pichai has also served as Google’s public face, acting as master of ceremonies for Google’s annual developer conference for the past two years.

■ “He has this amazing, almost 12-year track record of being this guy that always launched things that people wanted,” said Wesley Chan, who had previously worked on the toolbar project, in an article about Pichai in the Wall Street Journal. 

■ He acts as a central chord of the company who transmits informations from the employees to member of the organization.

ROLES AS A SPOKESPERSON■ In a meeting with vice presidents and directors who were arguing about several secret projects. Page

walked in and started describing unrelated concepts and ideas, then exited the meeting without taking questions. Mr. sundar Pichai entered the room and explained to the group what Page was talking about.

■ “He’s like the Aaron to Larry’s Moses,” a Google source told Business Insider, pointing to Pichai’s talent as a spokesman for Page’s ideas.

■ Last year in a Fortune piece about Pichai’s promotion to product chief, Mr. Miguel Helft quoted a tweet by Forbes.com-writer-turned-venture capitalist Om Malik: “Proof nice guys can win.”

■ He is an expert in the way he transmit the information to outsiders about the plans, policies, actions, etc that results into the company’s profit.
