2012 JVOS - Creative Director

Responsibilities: The Creative Director position involved working across JVOS departments to co-ordinate projects including branding, e-newsletters, new websites, web redevelopments and general print/online media marketing and advertising.

Achievements: Developed a much more cohesive branding design not only across JVOS departments, but also for various clients who needed re-branding or defining their business appeal.

Advised and worked alongside CEO of JVOS with any graphic design work as well as attending meetings with clients to discuss further plans on their design projects - this allowed for more experience and learning how to project manage certain aspects of design.

2010 - 2012 FLETCHER CONSTRUCTION - Graphic Design Assistant

Responsibilities: Layout submissions / tenders / newsletters / and other communication material for the smaller business units to agreed formats.

Produce visual material to illustrate specialties.

Prepare graphic illustrations for external suppliers.

Foster relationships to ensure understanding and seamless production.

Achievements: Assisted with graphic design work (charts, graphs and layouts) under tight time frames on tender submission for Christchurch Earthquake Recovery which Fletcher Construction subsequently won.

Improved signage visibility of the hubs for those seeking assistance throughout the suburbs of Christchurch for the Earthquake Recovery by designing easy to spot display signs, flags, posters, and boards.

Designed a user friendly layout for the Health and Safety Manual that is now consistent across all divisions of Fletcher Construction and implemented an easy to use template which has now been delegated to other staff to continually update the remaining sections of the manual.

Redesigned all out of date company documents, forms and templates in keeping with the new brand guidelines to create consistency throughout all Fletcher divisions.

2009 - 2010 SKILLS UPDATE TRAINING INSTITUTE

Responsibilities: Design and produce a variety of different materials for a brand new course in the most cost-effective way possible.

Achievements: Created several workbooks, posters, charts and diagrams for a new training course. The final design ultimately saved the client money on printing requirements but still allowed both the students and teachers to follow the very detailed information within the workbooks with ease.
