ANALYSIS OF RESULTS OF EXPERIMENTAL STUDIES OF CABINS OF FIRE

TRUCKS RESISTANCE TO EXTERNAL THERMAL INFLUENCES

    Mamaev V., Dr. Sci. (Tech.),

    Deputy Research Director,

    Sokolyanskiy V., Senior Research Officer,

Respirator State Scientific Research Institute of Mine-rescue Work,

Fire Safety and Civil Protection of the MES DPR

Made full-scale natural experiments according to the developed technique of experimental studies of fire

thermal impact process on the fire truck. The analysis of heating systems opportunities and the car ventilation for

providing a comfortable microclimate in a cabin at climatic influence is made. Effects of various intensity fire thermal

streams impact on a car cabin are defined. It is also shown the efficiency of thermal insulation and shielding of cabin

walls and water irrigation of the car as thermal protection.

Keywords: cabin of the fire truck, thermal radiation of the fire, experimental studies, thermal protection, heat

reflective screen, water irrigation, comfortable microclimate, safe microclimate

A mathematical model of focal-heating of materials for clusters of spherical shape. The system of equations

allows investigating the temperature change in the accumulation of material taking into account the oxygen diffusion

and sorption active surface. For different organic materials obtained an analytical solution of the dependence of

activation energy pre-exponential multiplier in the form of the equation of a compensation effect. Investigated the rate

of heat release, connecting the warmth and the rate constant of reaction of oxygen with organic material.

Keywords: spontaneous combustion, seat spontaneous heating, mathematical model, rate of reaction,

    activation energy, rate of dissipation.

Carried out the comparison tests of various sorbents for gas chromatographic separation of acetone, ethyl

acetate, benzene and toluene. It is proposed by way of inert solid in the given paper to use the N-AW mark chromatone

modified with 5 and 15% of polyphenil ether 5-4; N-AW-DMCS mark chromatone modified with 15%of apiezon L, AW-DMCS mark inert on modified with 10% squalane; inerton SUPER modified with 5% OV-1 mark dimethyl

    silicone. The main gas chromatography columns efficiency critical parameters, such as theoretical plates numbers;

height that is equal to the theoretical plate, and separation criterion were determined by means of experimental data. It

is also shown that the the best separating capability have sorbetnts based on chromaton N AW with 15% polyphenil ether 5-4 and inerton SUPER with 5% dimethyl silicone OV-1. Keywords: sorbate, inert solid carrier, liquid phase, initiators of combustion, acetone, ethyl acetate, benzene,

toluene, separative power, efficiency of the column, retention time, number of theoretical plates, criterion of separation,

    gas chromatography.

BY ACCIDENTAL EMISSIONS IN STORING PLACES

Zhiltsov A., Head of the Products Certification Sector,

Zhiltsov N., and. Sci. (Chem.), Head of the Scientific Test Centre,

Respirator State Scientific Research Institute of Mine-rescue Work,

Fire Safety and Civil Protection of the MES DPR

The analysis of causes of origin and elimination of the consequences of an accident accompanied with spilling

or emission of hazardous chemical substances at a chemically hazardous object was carried out. The data about the

conveying equipment and storing places of ammonia being one of the important products of the chemical industry were

summarized. The principal causes of origin, toxic action and methods of disinfection of the ammonia vapors were

analyzed. The scenario of generation of the cloud from the ammonia vapors is given. The conclusions about necessity of

neutralization of the ammonia vapors immediately after their formation without permitting of generation of the primary

    and secondary clouds are drawn.

Keywords: accident, emission, liquid ammonia, vapors, storehouses, cloud, neutralization, water curtain.
