Guest: Ah, thank you.

Guest: Yes, I’d like two eggs and a cup of hot coffee.

Waitress: Would you prefer fried eggs or scrambled eggs?

Guest: Two fried eggs over-hard, please.

Waitress: Two fried eggs over-hard and a cup of hot coffee.Will there be anything else?

Guest: No, that’s all.

Excuse me, I’d like to speak to the manager.

Customer:

For one, I asked for my steak to be medium-rare and this is well done, my mashed potatoes came as French fries, and I asked for a salad with light dressing and this salad is drowning in Thousand Island!

Waitress: I’m very sorry about that. I’ll go get him for you right away. Is there anything else?

Customer:

As a matter of fact, yes there is. I asked for a rum and Coke on the rocks and instead I got a lukewarm cup of coffee.

Waitress: Sir, I apologize. Let me get your steak for you, and I’ll bring you back a new salad and drink in a moment. The manager should be over in a moment. Again sir, I am sorry. (to the kitchen) I need another steak for table #4, medium rare, on the double! Sir, here’s your rum and Coke on the rocks. Your order will be ready in about three minutes.

Customer:

Can I please have my salad while I’m waiting?

Waitress: Certainly, and I’ll put your dressing on the side.

Customer:

That’ll be fine.

Waitress: Here’s your steak. Would you like any steak sauce with that? We have A1, Worcestershire, ketchup －

Customer:

No, that’s okay. I’ll just put some salt on it, thank you. Oh, and tell the manager I don’t need to see him anymore.
