Well, I normally use game apps. Whenever I have spare time, I tend to play games on my phone to get rid of stress. Also I often use news apps to check what’s going on nowadays.

I’d say Kakaotalk, which is online messenger app in Korea. Literally everyone in Korea uses this app to communicate with others and it also offers calling system so it’s really handy.

- Some of them do, some of them don’t

It depends. Some of them find using apps quite handy as they just need to tap the screen to do something, but some old people find it quite unfamiliar to use apps so they don’t like using apps.

Part 2 sample answer

Well, I have to talk about air conditioner as I can’t live without one. It’s an electronic machine which is very famous world-widely.



I don’t exactly know when it was invented, but I heard it was around 1920s or 30s. I read a book about Carrier once and found out that he invented it to use it for his work.



Basically, this machine is used for cooling down temperature when it’s too hot. Especially in summer, it’s really useful since it lowers room temperature and make people feel better.



I think air conditioners are really useful. Since I can’t stand on heat, I can’t literally live without one. It’s really difficult for me to work or do something where there’s no air conditioner.



Also I think air conditioners are becoming more functional nowadays. There’s one in my house and it has air purifying function as well as humidity control function. I find it quite surprising since technology is constantly developing for this machine. I think I’ll use it for a long time indeed.

- Yes; like trying new things out- No; I prefer using something I’m used to




Yes, actually I’m very keen to it. If there’s a new technology in the market, I tend to try it out no matter what it is. I just like trying new things generally.




No, not really. To me, using new technology is always quite difficult so I tend to stick with something that I’m used to.

- Yes, people’s lives became much handier with technology

Yes of course. These days, people can do their tasks conveniently with technology and I’m sure they will struggle without technology. Everything like driving, banking, and many others became so much quicker and handier.

- Yes, (personal example)

I absolutely agree. From my surroundings, guys are more into new technology and they are quite obsessed to try new things out but only some women are quite keen to new technology
