Sree SuktamªÄë ¬ÁÆ•ÁàÏ
A few words on Sree Sooktam
This hymn, Sree Sooktam is a compendium of the most
powerful adorations offered in praise of Goddess Sree Lakshmi,
in Veda-s and various puraanas. Thus, this is not the nectarine
flow form the pen of one poet but the creative excellence of
many. It is the worldly saying - ‘that money makes many
things’. Hence, bereft of the slanted look of our Sree Maha
Lakshmi, we can’t imagine our lives. It is, therefore, imperative
that we offer our devout reverence to her, to be blessed by her
as per our merit. This, along with Lalitha Sahasram, is a very
popular prayer on the Almighty. In fact, it is a must by-heart
for every Hindu woman. Let us understand its significance.
