IRtec Rayomatic 60 is a fiber optic infrared thermometer with

miniature optical head and separate electronics. Two differentoperating wavelength models, optics, and temperature ranges areavailable to meet most industrial high temperature applications whenthe ambient operative temperature is very high and the target is noteasily accessible.

Each IRtec 60 thermometer consists of

three separate and interchangeableparts:l

Single lens optical adapter (head) tocollect the IR radiation;lFlexible fiber optic cable steel coated

to transmit the IR radiation from the"head" to the electronic module;lMicroprocessor electronic module to

convert the IR radiation in electricsignal. The thermometer can beordered for different measuring rangesas specified in ordering instructiontable A.

Measuring System

The optic head can be connected anddisconnected from the process using aspecial fast connection system. It allows

the quick installing and maintenance ofthe measuring system

The electronic module contains adetector, processing electronics, andBell202 serial communication interface.The Bell202 interface consist of a modemto modulate the digital communicationover the 4-20 mA 2-wire current loop. Thisfeature allows you to change thethermometer setting connecting a PC onthe signal current loop using an RS232converter. You can chose between twodifferent emissivity adjustmentconfiguration: manual (from a selector

switch on the back panel) or digital(from the serial communicationinterface).

An optional laser is installed into theelectronic module and the spot isprojected by the optical head for targetalignment. The laser can be switched on

Five different interchangeable opticaladapters are available for different

target/distance vision cones.

Optical Head

You can choose between different fiberoptic cable lengths. The fiber isprotected by a flexible steel band forenvironment applications up to 200C.

The instrument includes signal processingfeatures including: Emissivity, Peak-Picker,Valley-Picker, Peak Hold, Valley Hold andAveraging all of which are adjustable on

the PC using the IRSetup software.

The IRtec Rayomatic 60 series of thermometers are suitable for a wide range ofmanufacturing and processing industries such as: ferrous and non-ferrous metals,glass, minerals, ceramics, chemicals, incinerators and research and development.
