DOREA Educational Institute (DOREA PIC Number: 948488893) is a quality not-for-profit

Vocational & Education Training provider, with Headquarters in Cyprus. Our

intermediary/hosting services for VET learners and staff are taking place in the sunny

and cosmopolitan island of Cyprus - Limassol.

DOREA can host VET learners and accompanying staff for two weeks or more in the following fields:

1. Business & Administration – business administrative services, marketing, office

management, retail management, entrepreneurship, economy, analysis;

2. Hospitality & Tourism – hospitality management & services;

3. Computing – computer networking, computer programming, computer repair,

information technology, computer science;

4. Creative industries – commercial art, advertising, fashion design, graphic arts,

mass media, new media arts;

5. Gastronomy – culinary arts, food preparation, pastry arts;

6. Mechanical/Electrical –compressor design, vibration, pulsation, machining,

welding, electrical protection, high voltage;

7. Marine (including Oil &Gas) – marine technology, offshore, HSSE, First Aid;

8. Aviation – gas turbines technology;

9. Environment – technology innovation, protection of the environment;







The program includes:

1. Transfer to and from the airport;

2. Full board accommodation;*

3. Introduction seminar;

4. Work orientation sessions;*

5. Cultural activities;*

6. Tutoring and mentoring;

7. Monitoring and evaluation;

8. Europass Mobility.

Full board accommodation* - accommodation is provided in deluxe apartments or in 3-

4 star hotel depending on the number of students and period of mobility (single or twin

rooms).

The apartments are located in central positions in the Limassol city. The mall of

Limassol, the old town centre, variable entertaining options, tourist attractions,

museums, the coastal avenue, banks and a wide spectrum of services are easily

accessible from the student accommodation buildings. All of the available rooms are

fully furnished and equipped.






All the hotels DOREA cooperates with are also located in central positions of Limassol –

next to the seaside and walking distance from d the city centre.

Hotels‘ facilities include: lobby, bar, restaurant, pool bar, two swimming pools (one

indoor heated) and a gym. All rooms are air-conditioned and come equipped with a

satellite TV, minibar and private bathroom with a shower.

Work orientation sessions* - they are usually carried our during morning hours. The

exact amount of hours per day will be decided in collaboration with the sending

institution and the accompanying staff; however, it is normal practice for VET learners

to have 2-3 hours work sessions per week day.






Cultural activities* – there will be two cultural trips during a two week period mobility

for VET learners & staff – one in Paphos and one in Omodos.

Trip to Omodos

This is half day trip during which we will visit Kourion archaeological site, one of the

most beautiful village in Cyprus Omodos and Platres waterfalls.

During the trip participants will also have an opportunity to visit local winery, see wine

making equipment as well as to taste some local wine and sweets.

Trip to Paphos

This is half day trip during which participants will visit Birth Place of Aphrodite, cost

town Yeroskipou, which is famous for producing traditional Cyprus delights as well as

medieval Castle of Paphos and Roman Mosaics in Paphos.
