5K Course Walkthrough
The race will begin at Holland Hall Gymnasium
Then proceed down Emancipation Lane, and Tyler Street
Racers will then pass by Holmes Hall and the Katherine House
Participants will then walk, run , and/or stroll by the Hampton
University waterfront
The race will then proceed past the Convocation Center and back
to Tyler Street
The race will end with one lap around the track in Armstrong
Stadium

About the Race The HU 5K by the Bay Fun Run/Walk is a
fundraising benefit for Hampton Roads Ecumenical Lodgings and
Provisions (H.E.L.P.), Inc as well as other initiatives for Hampton
Universitys Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Club. The H.E.L.P.,
Inc organization provides a number of services to support those in
need, including grocery assistance, emergency financial assistance,
family shelters, transitional housing, and a medical clinic.
Come out and run, walk, or push a stroller while supporting a
great cause. The course will take you across the beautiful campus
of Hampton University and along the Hampton River. Don't miss a
chance to get fit while supporting Hampton University students and
the Hampton Roads community.
