Original Practices at the Globe Between 1997 and 2005 the Globe staged 15 ‘Original Practices’ productions which aimed to replicate as far as possible the material practices of early modern theatre. The archives contain additional material relating to these productions, including papers deposited by the Artistic Director, Master of Music and Master of Clothing & Properties. Some productions used all male or all female casts, and these are indicated by the relevant symbol.
