It is with great pleasure that we invite you to join us at the “2nd Asian Paediatric Respirology Forum”, “6th Cross-Strait Paediatric Respirology Congress” and “17th HKSPR Annual Scientific Meeting” which will be held on 18 – 20 October 2014 in Hong Kong. The meeting will provide a strong scientific programme, enjoyable social activities , and importantly an opportunity to exchange and compare professional practice.
The organizing committee will organize a most comprehensive and exciting programme that will be interesting and relevant to specialist, general practitioners and allied-health professionals alike. A variety of programmes and learning modes will be offered. The programme address scientific and clinical topics, in additional to relevant topics on professional issues. Our international and regional speakers represent the forefront of practice in their special interests, and will update you on the best current practice.
The organizing committee is working very hrad to put together a truly memorable meeting in October 2014. We look forward to warmly welcoming every delegate. Your attendance will no doubt proof to be a valuable and enjoyable experience both scientifically and socially.

Optional Sightseeing Tours
PRE-DINNER SUNSET CRUISESundown is always associated with a few drinks before dinner. Spend the evening enjoying unlimited free drinks from the open Bar on board this authentic Chinese sightseeing junk as it sails within the harbour. Places of interest like Causeway Bay, North Point, Lei Yue Mun Village are all brilliantly glittering to cheer up your evening. Sailing along the Kowloon Promenade shows you the typical Hong Kong at night.

HONG KONG ISLAND TOURIt includes a visit to Victoria Peak for a panoramic splendour view of the city and Stanley Market which is famous for bargain shopping. It then returns along the coastal line via Repulse Bay and Deep Water Bay to Aberdeen, the floating village for fisherman (sampan ride at Aberdeen will be at optional cost). A stop at a local jewellery factory near Aberdeen offers a chance to look at the fine art and craftsmanship that has made Hong Kong famous in Asia.

TRAIL TO THE HIDDEN OASISExplore a lush countryside you never knew existed and learn about the stories of rural Hong Kong. Century old villages, a modern day farm, ancient monastery and untouched fields are woven into the rolling hills of the New Territories. Hear the birds chirp, enjoy the breezes and step into a green utopia for a half day escapade. As this tour involves a fair amount of walking, please wear comfortable shoes and bring along appropriate sun & anti-mosquito protection.

AFTERNOON LANTAU & MONASTERYEmbark on an adventurous ride on the Skyrail to Lantau and enjoy delightful panoramas along the way. (Should the Skyrail be cancelled due to inclement weather or other safety reasons, alternative transportation will be arranged.) Upon arrival, pay tribute to the giant bronze Buddha at Po Lin Monastery before exploring the ancient Tai O Fishing village with its traditional stilt houses. Finish your adventure with a ferry ride from Lantau back to Central before navigating your way back to hotel. (Return trip from the Outlying Island ferries Pier to the hotel is not included.)

TSING MA LANTAU MONASTERY TOURLantau with its natural beaches, simplistic fishing village, peaceful monastery neighboured by the world’s largest Buddha is an ideal destination of a wonderful day. The tour includes visit through Tsing Ma Bridge to Tai-O Fishing Village, and Po Lin Monastery, with a Chinese vegetarian lunch. The tour ends with a spectacular ride aboard the Skyrail cable car offering stunning views going down to Tung Chung.
