Abstracts There are a number of Thai population are ethnic Chinese due to Chinese people move to Thailand to engage in business and earn a living in the past day, especially the period of the changing time to Communist regime. Thus, more and more Chinese immigrants settle in overseas and those who immigrant to Thailand are Chaozhou people which lead to Chaozhou dialect play an important role in Thai. From past to present, by the situation of society and the changing way of life have made the borrow words from Chaozhou dialect disappear from using; while the meaning of some of them have changed from the original meaning or become using in slang style; and some of them are known and still using in daily life.
