1.3.4 Specification of Insulation
Heat insulation
All insulation is made with mineral wool with a jacket made of galvanized steel plate.
The insulation is used to prevent heat emission losses, moisture condensation and protection
against accidental contact.
The insulation thickness of apparatus and equipment are carried out in accordance with the
requirements on the data sheets and for pipes in accordance with the requirements of the P & I
diagrams.
Technical data:
Heat insulation material is calcium silicate, which density is 80~100kg/m³, the heat transfer
value is 0.035 W/m.K at the AMB temperature.
Cold insulation material is polystyrene foam, which density is 20~50kg/m³, the heat transfer
value is 0.0314~0.0465 W/m.K at the AMB temperature.
